Wow! I have, ah, I’m not sure how many steps I’ve done. I’ll ask Miss Knight
Wow! I’m not kidding – 12139. We have done 2 026 108 steps when I started writing this story. McDonalds gave us the pedometers. A pedometer counts your steps each day. It clips onto your hip. Heaps of people had problems with their pedometer like falling in puddles or the back bit broke off.

Room 3 has a toy mascot. Most people think he’s cuddly and soft like me. People think he smells like dust. Monty has 1 big happy smile and small white shiny teeth. Monty’s real name is Montgomery Maxwell Mouse and he is 13 years old. He has a long banana shaped nose with a black cherry on the end of his nose. His ears look like dried apricots.

Beijing is a city in China. Beijing is near the Great Wall of China. There are over 17 million people living in Beijing. Beijing has go four times as many as us in the whole country which is a lot because New Zealand only has 4 million people in our country. It would never want to live in Beijing. It would be like a zoo. Beijing is the second largest city in China. What a life. There has been a car problem in Beijing because people are buying more and more cars. In Beijing the even cars go on one day and the odd cars go on the next day.

Kangaroos are wild species. They also live in Australia. Kangaroos have long tails and strong feet. A baby kangaroo is called a joey. Mummy kangaroos are marsupials which means they have a pouch. They keep their babies in the pouch. Baby kangaroos are only 2 cm when they are born.

I might be going to Olivia’s birthday party and stay the night. Olivia gave the invitations out the 2nd of July. The party is on the 2nd of August and we’re probably going to have great time at her house. The people that are staying the nights are – Kate, Annalise, Caris and me (Rosa). We are going to play the chocolate game! I wonder what present I might give Olivia?
