My favourite topic on Friday writing was the Nuclear Power Plant I enjoyed that friday writing project. My second favourite was the Internet Safety one and I really liked the Facebook video. This year was a great year with Mrs. Spencer and all those assignments that we've done. My third favourite was the Earth day projects and helping our earth to stay clean and healthy. Mrs B's idea for picking up garbage on the playground was a great idea. I also really liked the Iditarod projects and when we got a musher and when we got partnered with other people. I think this will be sad when I leave grade 7 to 8 and start a whole new year and meet new people but I really enjoyed this year and it was really fun!

I'll keep blogging even if it the summer vacation
By the way..
Ten more days until summer vacation!
(Not that i've been counting.....)

Starting of the book:
There in the Kabul Market and She's only aloud out when she is with her father. Than her father gets taken away.
She becomes more brave and responsible as she gets older and everyone depends on her.
Characters -
Parvana- Responsible, Brave, Kind.
Nooria- Bitter, Bossy, Selfish.
Father- Kind, Helping, Smart.
Mother- Nice, Loving, Sweet.
Shazia- Kind, Smart, Brave.
Mrs. Weera- Responsible, Respectful, Strict.
Major Happenings in the book,
Parvana's Father gets taken away and put into jail and Parvana has to become a boy in order to get food for there family. Nooria gets married and Nooria and her Mother and Parvana's sibling Ali go to Mazar-e- Sharif, in the north. Her Father comes back and Parvana and her father go off to a journey to find Nooria and her mother
Would I Recommend this book to others?
Yes I would its a great book and it makes you feel like you're expirencing with it and can make you imagine it. It also has a sequel and the book continues.

If I could travel anywhere around the world where would I go? If I could go anywhere around the world I would go to Ontario because my sister lives there and I'd like to see my niece and my new niece that was just born! I have not seen seen my sister in four years and I'd really like to see them. I plan on taking a plane and take my mother with me and go see them in Toronto and do things with them and if I had extra time I'd go to Thunder Bay to go see some friends of mine. I really want to see them so badly and see if they've changed I would be really happy if I could.
Which I plan on doing this summer.....

Comment Challenge

So this morning i'm supposed to blog about the comment challenge I think the comment challenge is a great idea. Mostly all the comments i get are from Mr. E and most of the other comments i get from other people dont even explain why they liked it. The comment challenge is where you comment on peoples blogs and read their blogs. I'm not saying its a bad thing for Mr. E to be commenting on mine.. its a good thing because atleast i know someones reading what I post? I think the comment challenge is a great idea for people because its better to get an opinion on your blogs then get nothing at all. It might be something bad that maybe you made a few spelling error's and I dont think they are trying to make it seem so bad just giving you an idea what to change about it and make it better.

Should Saskatchewan get a nuclear power plant? I am not sure what i'd decide on.. I know its a great source for energy but there are things everyone should be aware about. Meltdown's are a serious thing to think about because its not the best thing for anyone or any animal. I think it can be a great idea because when you burn coal it creates alot of pollution. Things can happen where it explodes and nuclear waste goes everywhere that is radioactive and very toxic that can seriously harm anyone who's near or breathes it in and has serious side affects. It can make you ill and it is deadly. The goodd thing about it is it doesn't burn coal and coal will only last 107 years. Uranium doesn't create as much pollution as coal does and Uranium lasts longer too. I think if we had the technology for it to not have meltdowns or explosions we should because then it will help the environment by alot.

On the internet I have an msn so i can talk to my cousins who live in different places in regina then me. I also have an yahoo account.I do have a club penguin account but i really don't play on that game at all. I have an addictinggames account but i hardly play on that either. I don't have a bebo account but I could if I wanted to.
My mom doesn't know my accounts or passwords but I am not scared if she knew or found out about anything. I dont have any information posted on the internet about me. Besides like a picture of me on msn but I only have friends on msn that I know in real life. I am cautious about internet safety and I do know it is dangerous to have any personal information about me posted anywhere for everyone to see.

Morning everyone,
I know i havn't blogged in a while and we've started a new book. Mrs. Spencer was an intern but now shes gone. So Mrs. Brown started us on a new topic. Its about what happens in afgahnistan and a life of Parvana and whats happening. She and her family are struggling through a war in Afghanistan and her father gets taken away from the soldiers because he went to England for his education and illiteration so the soldiers took him away and the next morning Parvana and her mother went to the gates where the soldiers were at the jail and they asked for there father back and they kept asking and eventually the soldiers were beating on them. Sad.. Really. Another thing is I was watching the news and somewhere in Pakistan the men were losing there jobs because they wear turbans so they were firing the people with turbans and the people with the turbans were complaining about it because if they have no job how are the supposed to support there family and themselves. If theres no food, water, and shelter you cannot survive.

Helping Earth Day

Earth day was a great day for me. During school time Mrs. Brown gave us each a bag and a pair of gloves and we cleaned up the school playground there was a few smashed up bottles laying around but we cleaned it up. When i got home I recycled some bottles and boxes I didn't need. Around supper time I turned off all my lights and put on candels because I had a migraine AND for earth day. I put on ensence and a few glade candels that smelt good. I think I helped earthday by some.

What could I do to help our mother earth.
1 On the 29th of every month i turn all my power off from 8 to 9 and I light candels instead of turning on a light
2 I help recyle all the stuff possible to be recycled
3 I try not to use much electricity as possible.
I use as much as i need.
What I Can Do...
1 Start picking up garbage and no Littering
2 Make Fundraisers
3 To not throw out my old toys but to have a garage sale.
