Today my class walked down the the Regina Cemetary. We were to choose a person to write a journal entry about on the last day they were alive.
Florence Mary Geddie, March 10 1978
Dear Diary,
I know I'll be passing very soon and when I do I want to be buried not cremated. I'm very proud of myself for being in the Canadian Army Medical Corps. I was one of very few females that took part in the war. On my headstone I would like it to read "Their name liveth forever". I, Florence Mary Geddie, am proud to be Canadian!!
Thats what I think this persons last journel entry would look like.

On Monday we went to Circle Square Ranch for our class field trip. At camp we did a lot of activities such as horseback riding, zip lining, archery, BMX biking, and even a rock wall. There we 3 trampolines to jump on. Facilities were chuck wagons. The food there was one of the best tasting food for camp. Some people caught snakes. I think the biggest let down at camp was the ticks. I hate those things.(shiver) Both nights we were there we had campfires. We sand campfire songs and played games. Before we left Wednesday we went for a hayride. I can't wait to go again next year.

This is a story that makes little sense. Its funny. Read it!!
Andy wanted to go to the candy shop.
Before Andy went to the candy shop he went to go get his friend Zack.
Counting his steps he went to Zack's house.
Dramaticly, Zack and Andy went walked to the candy shop.
Elegantly, they walked into the candy shop.
Finally they chose their candy.
Generously they paid for their candy.
Heroicly, Andy and Zack walked out of the candy shop.
Insecurely they walked to Andy's house.
"July is the best time to eat candy" said Zack
"Kelly leave me and Zack alone" said Andy.
Later Andy and Zack played outside.
"My favourite fruit is kiwi's" said Andy "Do you."
"No I like mango's" said Zack
On their way back to the candy shop for the second time today, they saw their other friend Monty.
Politely they asked if Monty wanted to come to the candy shop with them.
Quietly they walked to the candy shop.
Running to the candy shop they saw Monty's parents.
Stopping, they said hi
"Tomorrow we should go to the candy shop again" said Zack
Usually Zack only goes to they candy shop once week but he can make an exception
Visiting the candy shop twice in one day is bad.
When we left the candy shop, everyone went home.
Xylophones sounded in the air when Andy walked home.
You don't want to eat too much candy.
Zack went home with a stomach ache.

Some of my favourite things through out the school year were the oreo project. For the oreo project we did oreo cookie stacking. The next best this thing of my school year would have to be Winterfest. The only bad thing is that day was really told. I really liked going to the Moose Jaw to see the tunnels. The best thing that is going to happen this year wll be camp. We went last year and are going to the same camp this year.
Whats your favourite thing about your school year?

I finished the book I was reading called "What I saw and how I lied". It wouldn't be in my top ten but it was okay. I found that it was more of a teen book but thats what read and at my reading level. I'm at a grade 9 reading level right now. Right now I'm focusing on finishing InkHeart. I put it down to read all these other books and I wasn't even half way through. Here is some info on the book I'm reading. See if you like it.
Dustfinger waited motionless beside the bed until she was breathing regularly again, then leaned over her treasure chest with a deep sigh and put the book under the others.
Soundlessly, he closed the lid...
He went on listening to Meggie's quiet breathing for a few moments, then stole back to the door. "Well, what does it matter?" he muttered when he was out in the corridor." Who wants to know the end of a story in advance?".
This book I think would fall under fantasy. Fantasy novels are one of my favourite kinds of books to read. I also like Romance novels such as Twiliht.
What kind of books do you like to read.

We can learn to tolerate and understand others different from us by listening. Listening is something little, that means a lot to people. I think the world will be in peace someday. Until then, the world will still have some disagreeing. That's what I think of understanding others and world peace.

Today we dissected frogs virtually. it was pretty gross and facinating at the same time. You should try it... virtually. I learned some cool stuff. Some body parts include: heart, liver, fat bodies, pericidium, and pancreas.

Today I just started reading a book called " What I saw and how I lied" by Judy Blundell. It is a really good book so far. Here is some info on the book.
When Evie's father returned home from WOrld War II, the family fell back into its normal life pretty quickly. But Joe Spooner brought more back with him then war stories. When movie-star handsome Peter Coleridge, a young ex-GI who servd in Joe's company in postwar Austria, shows up, Evie is suddenly caught ina complicated web of lies that she only slowly recognizes. She finds herself falling for Peter, ignoring the secrets that surround him...until a tragedy occurs that shatters her family and breaks her life in two.
As she begins to relize that almost everything she believed to be the truth was really a lie, Evie must get to the heart of the deceptions and choose between loyalty to her parents and feelings for the man she loves. Someone will have to bo betrayed. The question is ... who?
I can't wait to finish reading this book!
