The Road Not Taken

This story meant that when Robert Frost stood in front of two roads he knew that people always used to take that one same road and he knew that the other road wanted people to step on it, so Robert frost wanted to be different so he took the road that nobody ever walked on. All because he wanted to be different… In another way.

Stitches

Article posted December 9, 2011 at 10:23 AM GMT+2 • comment • Reads 560

I was only three and this was probably a living nightmare. I was in the living room and all of a sudden I tripped and my mouth landed on the edge of the table .As soon as my dad saw it he rushed me to the hospital. I was crying my head out the whole car ride and finally we reached there my dad rushed me to the emergency room and guess what happened? They put Stitches it hurt so much when the doctors were putting a needle in and out 6 times!!!! So of course my favorite part of the day was when the doctors told my dad that they were done and I got to get whatever I want J So I was only three and I didn’t really pick my present wisely I got a toy soldier. So as soon I got home my mom ran to me and squeezed me so hard that I probably had to go to the hospital again, she asked me if I was okay and of course I said yes but the stitches kind of hurt so I sat down and rested from that long adventure and hope that this will never ever happen again.

The Trip to the Science Lab

Article posted November 30, 2011 at 10:08 AM GMT+2 • comment • Reads 1324

I couldn’t believe it we were actually going to a science lab; everybody was excited, because we were going to see our cells and plant cells.
We saw the plant cells by cutting a piece of onion, putting a drop of blue ink and inserting it under a light microscope. If you want to see a human cell you get a cotton bud and rub it from the inside of your cheek and spread it on the slide and you also have to put it in a specific place under the microscope.
Most of my friends saw everything clearly except me. I thought I didn’t see it clearly because when I started to use the microscope there was about seven people behind me waiting to see their cells and they wouldn’t stop shouting “COME ON KARIM ARE YOU EVER GOING TO FINISH??!!”.So as quickly as possible I turned off the microscope and ran away from that chaos. I wrapped both of my cells together and walked away to my friends were kind in off for letting me see their cells and I could see it perfectly the nucleus, vacuole and Cell membrane!! They were really lucky. Almost all of them could see their cells. So then it was time to leave.

I expect the camping trip be fun like, going camping, having big tents, and making a camp fire. I hope we will have fun. And I am looking forward to play archery because it is very fun and we get to learn how to aim well.
