Lucky escape!!
Written by Amber Muldoon
There I was, staring with a distressed look in my eyes. “Why did you do that? Why?”
“I’m sooo sorry!”
“Keep your apologies.” I spoke in a quiet voice. “One word for you, STUPID!” I thought you were a friend that I could trust with my life!” My dear friend Kristin was running extremely low on money so she decided to rob the local bank. That’s how she ended up in prison.
Out of the dark, I heard the dirty prison guard speaking in a dull voice that sent a shiver down my cold, hard spine.
“Your time’s up,” boomed the prison guard, “You can meet her in her court trial tomorrow.”
“Thank you,” I said politely back and moved away in a rather quick pace.
The next day, I stared helplessly at my friend as the judge, Shania, walked up the creaky steps to her leather seat. I turned my stiff head to Kristin. The stupid court trial was over and done with before I knew it. Early the next morning, when the mist was still lurking around, I heard a screeching bang at my door. TAP, TAP! “Come in,” I said helplessly. ‘’Hello’’ a sly voice replied. “Let’s celebrate!!!”
“Who’s there and why do we need to celebrate?” “It’s me, Kristin and I’m not going to prison!!!” Kristin was able to stay out of prison, but she had a severe warning not to do it again! PHEW!

"BEEP, BEEP". A chicken was going into town to get some food, when his coffin car broke down. As he shrieked for help all he heard was " Hut 2,3, Hut 2,3, Keep moving." The chicken ( who was named Fred )peeped over the lanky wooden gate. He gasped in dismay as he saw humans wearing camoflage clothes. Fred knew that he had broken down in front of a military bass camp. Fred was beside himself and he wanted to go and get help , but there was a sign that said " no tresspasse's allowed or you'll be in the military FOREVER!" " Well, you see, Fred wasn't the smartest chicken around ." But Fred walked stunchly up to the genral and begged on his knees if the genral could help him fix his coffin car. But the genral had a differant idea! The genral made a spoon catapolt and shot Fred back to his little chicken house!!

Are you concerned that children are not focusing properly in class?Do children waste to much energy in class by talking or mucking around? If children have the right to climb trees they might waste thier energy more by climbing trees.Talking and mucking around in class not only waste's the teachers time but it also gets in the way of childrens education.Climbing trees takes up alot of energy. For one you have to climb up and find safe branchs. Then you have to climb down safely.

STOAT REPORT
Definition
Stoats are small, furry, brownish gold pests. They eat our native bird eggs, such as the brown kiwi and the takahe.
Description
Stoats are like a long small cat but they are only one colour. Stoats are gold to blend in with the grass. They turn white in winter to blend with snow. Stoats were brought to New Zealand to stop the rise in the rabbit population.
Habitat
Stoats were first found in Britain in the 1870s. They then spread to the bush. They now harm our native animals and forests.
Feeding
Stoats mostly eat meat. They eat baby eggs, Baby birds, takahe and kiwis. They are all native to New Zealand. We need to control the stoat population, because stoats eat our animals New Zealand will lose their native birds.
Behaviour
Stoats act very ferocious especially around us humans. They are also really fast so they are able to catch their prey. Stoats mostly live by themselves.
Conclusion
The Department of Conservation set traps all over New Zealand to catch stoats in an effort to eradicate them and to protect our native animals.
