The athlete I am doing for my olympic athlete project is Heather Moyse. Now lets start basic. My athlete Heather Moyse does bobsleigh and she is Canadian. She does rugby in the summer and bobsleigh in the winter. She has won four medals in bobsleigh. 1 gold 2 silver and 1 bronze. Heather Moyse trains at Canada Olympic Park. She has two coaches Quin Sekulich and Tuffy Labour English. Her first run down a bobsleigh was in Calgary in November 2005. She started doing bobsleigh in 2005. Her first World Cup bobsleigh race was in Calgary 2005. She weighs 159 lbs which is important to bobsleigh because the weight is tested before you go down the track.

Bobsleigh can be dangerous but if you are a trained professional it is not as dangerous it is still dangerous.

A bobsled has two runners, they make the sled go down the track. Then it is kinda like a sled on top of the runners with sides.

A track ( the thing the bobsleigh slide down ) only takes sixty seconds or one minute to slide down. There is also fifteen bends and fifteen straights.

I used to think that bobsleigh was a one man sport but it is actualy a team sport. There can be a team of two or four.

How fast can a bobsleigh go? Well a bobsleigh can go up to 160 miles per hour!!! That is really fast!

Did you know the sport bobsleigh originated from Switzerland in the 1980's?

A bobsleigh has brakes but you are not aloud to use them or you will be disqualified.

It is illegal to heat the runners before the race. Hot runners melt the ice and make the sled go faster. The temperature of the runners is checked before each race.

This was my Olympic project on Bobsleigh.

I want a new clarinet ligature because my old one will break soon because it is a bad quality. I also want a new clarinet ligature because mine looks weird and I want a better looking one. Also I am getting into the higher level in clarinet so I will need one that holds the reed all the way in place.

I wish for the book Egyptology because it is a really good book about Ancient Egypt. Also I have wanted that book for years because I am really into Ancient Egypt. That book Egyptology also has really cool pop outs and pull outs that make it even awesome.

I really want to go to Peru because it has the famous desert lines that no one knows who or what made them. Also there is the many desert mummies and if you know me you know that I love mummies. Also I love to travel so going to Peru would be really fun.

It would be nice to have a D.S. or a D.S.I. because my sister has a D.S. and she will sometimes share it with me but her games are not very fun. Also I could picto chat with her and I love doing that. I get board a lot so this would keep me occupied.

A lot of people wish for world peace but I have a better Idea. I wish for a tenth planet that special non violent people could live on because there would be no war and no violence. Also it would probably be pretty cold so there should be another sun so we could be warm. Also there would be more places to travel so I would have a lot more places to travel. That would be fun.

I recently went on a trip to Paris and London. First we flew to Paris then we took an train that goes under the ocean called the chunnel that went to London. We were there for five days then we went to Paris by the chunnel and stayed there for five days. We went to Le Louve and the Ifel tower and St. Pauls Cathedral and West Minister Abby. Our church that we go to in our city is also called St Pauls Cathedral! They were very big and beautiful churches. We saw the grave of Chopin and Claud Debussy and many graves of kings and queens. All in all it was a great trip!!!(:
