We went snow shoeing and we saw animal tracks. We got to walk on a pond. There was a beaver lodge. The beaver loge was like a hill type of thing beaver probely did not live in it said our teacher. There was another beaver loge and beaver lived in it. We played a game it had real mouse blood. We tried to see who could keep it the warmest we buried it in the snow. We put leaves, and pinecones or it. We saw ice holes from a program on the pond. I stepped in one and fell but the hole was frozen! Half the kids were laughing. I was even laughing. On the pond we played a game. We had something in a little black container. We shook the containers. We had to guess who had the same thing in their containers. That's what moms and baby animals do. They recognize the sound of each others voice.

We saw 16 pictures at Superior public library. Some of the pictures were Native American pictures. The pitchers I liked were A man with tree dogs, curling hockey, and a foot ball game. I will tell you a story. Three sisters slept under the stars and one said I want to merry a star and when they woke up they were in the sky all three ended up marrying a star. What we saw a tweed museum was a set of moccasins, clothes with beading on them, bead work, beads, baskets for food. Outside tweed we played a game called shadow tag.

We learned about Native Americans. We saw a cone of maple sugar, axes, a big bead, wild rice, and flutes. One kid got to play the flute. We made necklaces. He told us some stories. He said if you won a game you got maple candy. We saw beaver furs, bear furs, bobcat furs. Mr. peel was here hole days. He told us some ledges. I will tell you a story he told us ok. He said when he when he went fishing he saw a shadow it was a fish and he got the fish the fishes tale dragged in the snow. He was rely nice. Another story is. When a boy plays a flute at a girls wigwam that means he likes her. Making the necklaces was so fun. He said the black bear is rely dangerous he said if you see one clime a tree and when you hear it crushing through the brush you can come down. He traded with the French they traded guns, metal, axes, cooking stuff.

My favorite part was we learned how the voyages lived. We played a game to gather fake food for winter; fall, spring, summer. We made we made sackafus to hold a kit of fire. We felt animal furs. We saw big canoes and knifes. We got to go to the gift shop and bought stuff if we had money. We learned they traded. There was a museum full of stuff, we could take a quiz on what we saw. They said the Ojibwa people were always trading.
They laid tobacco down when the spirits gave them something.

Hopes and dreams
I wish we get to put shaving cream all over our desk to clean them. I want to read lots of books. I’d like to go on lots of field trips. I’d like to stay in side for recess. I hope we can go on the computer. I hope we can blow stuff up.
