The first thing we did was snow shoeing and it was hard but it was fun but tiring yet. When we went in to the woods we saw tracks and a kids forte but we thought it was a bear cave. I didn't because it was small and it was made out sticks and it has holes in it. We went into the woods. We hid mouse blood and we saw scat, like bunny scat and deer scat and dog scat stuff like that. We got to run and find the mouse blood.

Mr. Peel

MR.PEEL taught us how indians lived long ago and what they ate and how they played. They gathered rice from the weeds in the water and they shot arrows at bears to eat. They lived in wigwams and when winter came they made birch bark houses. They played with wood dolls and stick games. When they got rice from the water they had to pray first before they went in the water to thank them for letting them use the water. They had to dance on rice. The girls had to do all the work, mainly. The boys had to leave when the girls dance on rice because they never let the girls dance only boys could dance.

A black bear is dangerous because they’re mean and if they catch you with a baby cub they will attack you. If a black bear is near, clime a tree and don’t let go until you hear branches move in the woods. And if a baby bear is hanging on you get it off you because the mom bear is near and she will attack you.

They hang cradle boards for babies for when they are working and when the babies are sleeping and playing.

The Public Library

Carl Gawboy showed us panting like how Indians paddle across the water with canoes and boats in the water and with people on the boat and dogs pulling people on sleds and in the movie theater they had air-conditioner and in the houses they had no air-conditioner in the houses. At the tweed museum we mad books and drew in them and saw cradle boards and moccasins and wigwams and cars and buildings. At the library we got to read books and play and play games and do puzzles and play with stuffy the animals and we saw football players playing football and getting rides on wagons and getting pulled by horses.

I hope we can do Halloween party. I hope we can have a Christmas Party. I wish we could get to have a school PJ day and have pancake day. I wish we can roller skate in the hall way.
