We listed to a story about the wolf the eagle and the earth. He said that the spirit grabbed a piece of fur from the eagle the wolf and blew it away and it made lots of the animals. Then he slashed his hand across the earth and it made water and the animals in it. He sent the wolf to look around and once in a wile he would dig a hole then the spirit sent the eagle to look for life. We made necklaces about the wolf and the eagle. We saw lots of weapons. The weapons we saw were arrow axes knifes hitter things and a swatters the men would swat them for killing there men and they would not come out until the mark would go away. He shoed us the games that they would play the games were. They had this thing were its like a stick that’s cupped at the end.

My favorite part was when we went to the trading post. I liked seeing the guns. I learned how the voyageurs lived.

We played a gathering game. The brown blocks meant meat, the blue blocks meant fish and other water animals, the green blocks meant plants.

We made sacafu bags where they put there tools. They hold flint and steel.

I liked going into the wigwam. There was a cradle board in the wigwam. There were maple sugar collators

There were canoes in one room. The beaver skin was used to trade at the post. There were wolf furs in the trading post and rabbits skins.

I hope we can do some science stuff this year. And go on cool field trips this year, like a field trips to Madeline Island this year. And go on the raft. I hope we can have a music program. I hope we can learn division. This year I hope we can have a Halloween party.
