Our group went snow shoeing with lacy. Then we went out on the ice.
Then we saw a beaver loge. Then we saw a man on the ice ridding a bike.
Then we saw animal tracks. Our group went with joy on the trail.
Joy took us on the trail over the skier trails. Then we played a mouse game.
Then we ran to the top of a hill and we ran back down the hill.
Then we saw a fort and went inside it. My favorite part was snowshoeing on the ice.

superior public libary

We went to the superior public library to see an artist.
He drew a picture of a trading post and
he drew a picture of a kid dreaming of flying.
He drew a picture of a big ship in the waves. Then we went to
the tweed museum. There was lots of paintings there.
We went to the planetarium to hear stories about the stars.

He talked about the Ojibwa and how they lived.
He talked about the stuff that the Ojibwa wore and he talked about the beads that they wore.
He talked about the clans and he told us story.
He talked about the wild rice and he was here for 3 days
And we made necklaces with an eagle feather and he talk about the Fur and what they used it for and he talk about the horse.

My favorite part was when we learned how the voyagers and how they live. We played a game to learn how to live like the Ojibwa people. And we sowed a little sack of fire that the Ojibwa people used to Cary there fire stuff in. and they shoed us the rich men Rome. And they shoed us the trading post and the stuff that the voyagers traded the Ojibwa and they talk about the wigwam and the cattle and they talk about the fur and I got to look at the big cacaos ’and they talk about lakes and the wild rice and they talk about how they make a canoes and they talk about the beaver.

Hopes and Dreams
I hope we get to do experiments and eat candy in class. I hope we get to explode things and do chemistry and do math and science and stuff and go to the pumpkin patch. I hope we get to do lots of field trips in 3rd grade and walk to the bowling alley.
