August 20, 1848
Dear Pioneer Diary,
I’m on the burial grounds trail. I don’t think it was a good idea because it is dangerous. Joseph Black was bit by a scorpion because it hid in his shoes. Some people got lost in my train so we had to look for them . The Indians have been mad and mean to us because we’re on their land. And we lost some live stock because the where probably stolen by Indians. The Indians have been trailing us so we had to run for it and lose 200 pounds. The things I had to leave behind were a stove, 4 animal traps and a baby cradle and a lantern. My wife just had a baby. I’m not really sure that well make it to Oregon because were in Indian Territory. And we’re probably going run out of water. I feel fine riding on the wagon.

DANIEL BOONE
Daniel Boone was born in 1734. Daniel was a kid with 12 brothers and sisters. He lived on a farm with his family. Daniel was an outdoorsman. When he was 13 he got a gun for his birthday. He was a good shooter. He won a lot of shooting contests.
Daniel Boone blazed some trails so people could follow them. Daniel lived in Pennsylvania. Daniel got the small pocks purposely. Daniel had a sharp eye so when he went hunting he could find animal’s.
Daniel learned all his skills from Indians. Daniel went on hunts that the Indians called long hunts because he hunted all fall. Daniel got a girl friend at a wedding. They couldn’t get married yet because the war was going on since the 1700. The French won. Daniel joined the war when he was still young.
Daniel made Boonesbrough for the pioneers when they come. Daniel was captured by Indians. He got away and swam to warn his people but he was too late and his wife was gone. Daniel went to were his wife lived and she was at a party. Daniel went to the party and asked his wife to dance she said no but then she realized it was Daniel!

When it got to be night a dog named Storm and some blood came out of his BUN HOLE because he ate the wrong kind of food and that kind of food was hard corn that made blood come out of Storms butt. AND THAT'S MY STORY.

I’m thankful for school and food and my parent’s and the Bible and my dog and my house and my grandparent’s.
When I go to my grandparent’s house I have a big dinner and sometimes I play games sometimes my cousins come to. I watch football and other things.

About our forest.
I put pine trees in picture because it is a coniferous forest. We put a water fall in the picture because it looked like a good picture to put a water fall in. we put grass in it so it looked more like a forest.

A wolverine is a strong meat eaters that look’s like a badger. A wolverine sometimes scares away brown bears from there meat. A wolverine lives in Asia Europe and North America. A male wolverine is bigger than female wolverine.

I hope we go to Harley Nature Center and get crayfish and get a lot of candy on Halloween. I hope we can make Gingerbread house. I can’t wait till we get our movies with me in it. I hope I won’t get a detention this year.
