Grassland

Article posted October 3, 2008 at 07:29 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 105

Mountain lions have tan to gray and brown fur on spots. They have small round ears. Mountain lions have a pale patch above each eye. They have long sensory wickers. They have light fur on its belly. They have long retractable claws. They have long tail with black tip.

Jack rabbit’s have very long ears. Jack Rabbits have big eye. Their fur is brown and white and black. There wiskers are small. They have big legs and big hind feet.

A grassland is the mostly grassy in the world. The animals that live there are a Jack rabbit and Mountain lions. It is windy. It is mostly windy. Many kinds of insects like grasshoppers live in grassy land. Once huge herds of bison were on grassy lands. Now only a few herds are still there. There are a few trees and some flowers. The temperature is 20 to 22 degrees Celsius.
