Capital Letters

Article posted June 22, 2012 at 01:54 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 489

There are three ways that you can use capital letters. They are:

The name of a person, place or specific thing (proper nouns). Eg. My name is Stephanie. I live in Australia.

The start of a sentence. Eg. The man was in a grumpy mood. The teddy bear was brown.

The title of something (books, movies, TV shows, event). Eg. 'Sculptures by the Sea'. 'Mary Poppins'.

My Report

Article posted June 21, 2012 at 02:51 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 218

Literacy - B

I think that for my report for Literacy I deserve a B. I think this because I think that I have improved my persuasive writing techniques. I have also tried really hard to master the new technique we have been learning which is Reciprocal Reading. In Reciprocal Reading I have been trying to work as a group without being bossy and taking control.

Maths - B

I think that for my report for Maths I deserve a B. I think this because I have improved on my fractions, decimals and percentages. I have also improved on my coordinates. I also think I deserve a B because almost every week I hand in my
Maths homework on time.

Term 1

Article posted May 2, 2012 at 02:06 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 371

My number 1 achievement in term 1 was to learn how to strucure a paragraph properly. At first i didn't know how to do it. No that I know how to do it I will be able to use it to get me better marks in NAPLAN. My 3 goals for Term 2 are to do my spelling s quickly in the morning, do Mathletics more often and to keep my tray tidy. Some things that I would like to learn abut at school are different religions and what those religons do, cooking and different countries cultures.
