Dear Parents,
I think deforestation is threatening us with Carbon Dioxide, mudslides and no energy.
First trees provide oxygen and get rid of greenhouse gases. The trees are habitats to animals. Greenhouse gases are harmful to breath, but luckily the trees turn it into oxygen. If we cut down the trees the harmful U.V. (ultra violet) rays will enter the earth’s atmosphere it will either melt ice caps or cause skin cancer. Also if the North and South poles melt every country bordering the sea will be flooded and you don’t want that to happen do you?
If we stay like this, eventually there will be no more trees, and if there are no more trees the food chain will fall apart and all species will be extinct.
I think we all should save trees by planting new ones to replace the chopped. That’s why we are making a fund raiser to plant pine trees, to get the money I have to do a chore and get paid $1 (or equivalent to) every day for one week.
Sincerely, Omar

One night in the year 2000 when I was still a toddler I was going to go to sleep I went out of my room with my sister, my sister went to her room while I was going down to my mother and father, I was going to the stairs to put my foot onto the first step when I tripped and fell.
My head was only millimeters away from the stairs until my body started moving towards the stairs, at that time although I was a toddler I knew that this wasn’t good and it would only get worse.
I couldn’t stop, I wanted to turn back but for a strange reason I just kept moving towards the stairs, and before I knew it I was rolling down stairs each time I fall down a step I feel like I’m rolling on needles, until I was on the bottom of the stairs then I didn’t have enough energy to move I just kept my eyes open let tears pour out of my eyes and opened my mouth to reveal my remaining teeth.
Until this very day I keep asking myself “why did I keep moving” or “why did we have fancy stairs?”

If Only They Could Speak!!
I’m squished, help me! Pull me! No, pull the others! Just help! That helped. Ok I think that’s enough. How much do you need!? Oh no I’m in front don’t pull me don’t pull me don’t pull me! I know what you’re going to do to me! Gross, well I finally looked inside a human nose, even if it was blowing at me. But use my cousin the tissue for that. Now that you are done throw me in the garbage with the rest of my friends. Uh oh don’t even think about throwing me in there, think about this first, good now throw me in the trash.
Want to know why I want to go to the garbage well I’ll tell you why: because day and night people take one of my friends and do something we are not made for like blowing their noses with us, I mean we’re made of trees in a way so use me for what I was made for or, put me in the garbage!
Finally, thank you, you threw me in the garbage.

“That hurt” I said “you’ll get used to the paintballs” said my cousin, “you won’t get hit so much if you duck while running”. I took his advice and ran towards a shelter, when I got there I ducked. Then “Splat” a paintball came out of nowhere and hit… the other side of the shelter.
I stood up to shoot I fired two shots but I heard a “Splat” I looked at my chest and saw a paintball, oddly the paintball was white so I couldn’t see it that well, I raised my hand up to signal I was hit, I pressed a button so I could not shoot no matter how hard I try, then I ran to the referee so I could stay in a safe spot away from the paintball field.
It was time for the second round I entered the field pressed the button to shoot with ease, the round started and I went out to shoot but before I even thought of pulling the trigger to shoot the paintballs hit me on my right leg the weird thing is it didn’t hurt, but anyways I raised my hand up and ran to the referee but I had to go behind a shelter where everyone from the opposing team was shooting at, I still had to reach the referee so I walked carefully to him when “Splat Splat Splat” I got hit on the ribs three times by someone who missed the shelter so I ran as fast as I could to the referee.
When I was away from the field I looked at my ribs and for one really crazy second I thought I was bleeding but then I saw it was red paint
