I got a piece of cheddar cheese,
It smelled as bad as dead bees,
I gagged, I puked, I threw up,
I felt so weird, like I blew up!
I touched it with a pair of socks,
It cut right through,
What do I do?
I have an idea,
It’s brilliant, it rocks.
I got a pair of stinky socks,
The socks ate the cheese in one bite!!!
It burped and said, “That was a good fight.”

Too Late
I once was a baby,
I turned two real soon,
I started school when I was three,
Then I went to ele-men-tary!
I’m passing by at the speed of light,
I never thought of slowing down,
I finished high school in 2016.
I finished my teens after this,
I only realized when I turned 54 that my kid life,
Was no more.
I only then wished that I’d slowed down for a second,
To notice the great things that had happened,
And how lucky I was.
I’m thinking, now, that I want to go back in time and fix this awful disaster.
But how could I?
I ruined it by going faster and faster.
