Pink Shirt Day

Pink Shirt Day is a day when we wear pink shirts on April 10. We started doing this because at a school just like yours, a boy was wearing a pink shirt and he got bullied for it. Two kids just like you told everyone in the school to wear a pink shirt to see what the bullies would do and they never bullied again.
I think it is working because alot of kids in my school stopped bullying.

I carefully felt my way around the dark basement, trying to find a way out. I was telling myself I would be OK but I had a feeling I would not be. I admitted that I was KIDNAPPED!
I felt a spoon on the dirt floor so I started digging. After an hour, I thought I had dug far enough down that I could start digging out. But, it turned out that I had only dug about 2 inches deep.
I went back to trying to find a door.
I was trying to find something to get out of this dump so I slammed a door open and got a chair and smashed a window open. I was free but something was femiliar about the house. IT WAS MY HOUSE! I must have had a dream and sleptwalked down stairs.
When I heard my mom holler at me because I broke the window I knew I was grounded.

This Christmas will be fun because I'm going to my grandma's house in town. I will see my cousins, uncle, aunt and my grandma and grandpa. I will play with my cousins too. I want a sled for Christmas because my other one broke.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

My favorite Christmas movie is How the Grinch Stole Christmas because it reminds me that Christmas is about family and friends and not about presents and decorations.
The Grinch is a 53 year old grumpy monster that hates Christmas. He tried to stop Christmas from coming. He dressed up like Santa and he looked ridiculous. He made a sled and he was off. When he got to the first house, he stole all the presents, all the food, and even the tree. He did that to every other Who house. He took everything to the top of Mt. Crumpit to dump it. When he heard all the Whos singing he turned good because they didn’t need presents or decorations. He felt joy because the Whos were singing.
My favourite part of the movie is when the Grinch’s dog, Max, couldn’t get all the heavy bags on the sleigh. What is your favourite part?

CFR

Last weekend I went to the CFR. The CFR is the Canadean Finals Rodeo. I saw my cousin bronc ride in the CFR. I went to West Edmonton Mall while I was there. I saw my cousins from Alberta and played with them after the CFR was over. It was vary nerve-wracking to watch my cousen ride besause he could of got hert bad. there was over 66 000 peaple there so it was very loud. I was so happy to see my cousens because I never saw them for a year.

Pass, Punt, and Kick

When Justin and I went to Pass Punt and Kick we had a blast! I picked pass owt of all the other things besaus you can controle your pass more than your punt and kick.There were at least two hundred people there. My farthest throw 70 feet. Justen kicked 43 feet. We didn't win but we got dog tages for perticipation. It was very fun to get that far.

Last weekend I was playing tag and my brother was it. He was right behind me so I was running as fast as I could. Whack! I tripped on a stump and got a face full of dirt. I wasn't crying but it really hurt. I got a lot of dirt in my mouth so it took a while to get the taste and the dirt out of my mouth. When I got back up, I was it. For the rest of the game I was watching out for that stump. I never tripped on that stump again.

My class trip was awsome besause we went to the RCMP Heritage Centre. I saw a lot of pistels and rifles. I saw the transpertation Of the RCMP.
Then we went to the Mecenzy Art Gallery. There was a lot of art. My faverate sculpcher was a guy fishing and it was made out of a wale bone.
I want to go to the RCMP Heritage Centre again so I can solve the crime!

Track and Field

At track and field I got 2 thirds and 2 fourths. I got a 3rd in the four hundred and two hundred. I got the fourths in one hundred and running long jump. I love track and field. There was a lot of copitition. I only knew 5 peaple there. The hardest activity was throwing a heavy ball.

Yesterday we saw awesome pictures from the Art Gallery. There were pictures of cows,feilds,people and horses. The picture I liked the best is the picture with the cows because it looks so real. I hope he comes back again and shows us different pictures.
