Pink Shirt day

Last week we had Pink Shirt day at our school. Pink Shirt Day is a bully awarness program so every year we all get pink shirts to wear all day. At our school we did alot of activities like we talked about it in the assembelies, some people made a puzzle piece to make a big pink shirt and we did lots of games.
At lunch we had a pink lunch. Almost everyone brought pink baking like cookies, cupcakes and jello. As sort of a main course, there was painted hotdogs and pink lemonade.
I like Pink Shirt Day because the games, the food and what it does for bullying.

Elf

My favourite Christmas movie is Elf. I picked this movie because I thought it was very funny pretty much all the way through. My most favourite part was when he chugged the big Coke bottle and put syrup on his spaghetti. I thought when he left the North Pole it was sad because everybody liked him.
One day Buddy the Elf figured out his real dad was on the naughty list. Since he was an elf he couldn’t let that be, so he set off for the city to put his dad on the nice list. When he got to the city he faced a whole different way of life. He had to get a job as an elf and I thought that was pretty funny. He had to try and fit in at the big city.
I try to watch it as many times as I can every year.

Halloween

Yesterday was Halloween. It was awsome! First I had to go down town to drop off some of my stuff with my mom so I could use my backpack. After that I went with Justin and started trick or treating downtown. By the time we got the middle of town we met Chance and Walker. When we met them we had just came from where they hadn't been so we went up and waited. When they finished we returned to my grandma's house. Right after we did her house I drove out to the farmes. After about an hour my sister decided she wanted to open a pop, but she just couldn't hold onto it so I had to. Almost 10 minutes later she opened a better one and she didn't hold that one either so we ended up dumping both of them. After that we stopped by a couple houses in Viceroy then we went home. By then it was about 11:00 so we quickly looked through our candy then went to bed.

Kittens

Yesterday I was playing with one of my cute little kittens, Sqeeks and Chunky. I was holding Chunky in my arms and Squeeks was at their food boul eating. Then Chunky started crawling up my shirt and sat down on my shoulder. He kept sort of spinning around and I when I went to open my mouth to say something, his tail hit me in the face! After that I put him down by the food and picked up Squeeks. I petted him for while until he fell asleep in my arms. Then Chunky decied he wanted to play, so he ran up to my foot and started playing with my toe. He kept batting at it and chewing on it until my mom said it was time to put them back outside. So I said goodbye and put them outside.

Feild Trip

For our feild trip we went to the RCMP center. There we learned about treaties. After we finished the tour we got to go and look at what we wanted to. There was a whole bunch of different guns, vehicals and stories to listen to. I took over 30 pictures on my Ipod.

After that we went to the Mackenzie Art Gallery. There was a bunch of paintings and Iniut sculptures. In the lobby there was a sculpture of a girl and a friend put a hat and sun glasses on it and it looked cool.
I had a lot of fun on our trip.

Track and Field

A couple of days ago we had our track meet. 3 schools came.It was the same as last year except we did shotput instead of ball throw. I got all the same places as last year (participation and Fourth)in shotput. At the end we had a competion between the grades, It was a water bucket relay. The grade 5/6s won. I sort of like Track and Field.

Easter Holidays

Have you ever gone to a dance competion? I kind of went but went swimming with my frind Carson too. After we went swimming we went down to the bottem floor and got some popcorn. Then we went to my hotel room and watched some TV.

The next day my mom had to wake up early for my sister's dance and they woke me up too. I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't so I watched some TV. After my mom and sister left I went down to breakfast with my friend and his cousin. When we got back we had to go to the come to the competion. At first there was nothing to do But then we found another friend of mine.We didn't really get to do anything because I went to my Reis's house. It was awsome, we blew up army men with fire crackers.

The next day we played his xbox 360 for a while then we met up with my mom got my brother and went swimming in Weyburn. After that I had to go home withmy mom

MacKenzie Art Gallery

Yesterday was the Mackenzie Art Gallery and it was pretty cool. The man showing and telling about the paintings was nice and he painted too. He said that some people used oil paints and some people used some kind of milky paint. The funny part was the painting that looked the newist was the oldist.

Today Feb 8. 2012 I have hockey tryouts for a Radville spring hockey team.If I get on the team we're going to play in tournaments in cities and stay in hotels and maybe go watersliding.I get to go on my bus home to a friends house because their taking me.

Only 17 more days untill X-mas and can't wait. I typed a few copies of my X-mas list. We have all our indour decourations but we don't have the outdoor ones, well we only have some house lights and some light up candy canes. But O well I geuss I'll have to wait. I hope you have a merry x-mas.

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving was awsome. But I kind of had two Thanksgivings, one with my dad's side and one with my mom's side. We had the first one with my mom's side and that was was realy fun.My favourite thing about it was the truffle. But at my dad's we had a walk in the park.

Going To The Eye Docter

Last Monday I went to the eye docter in Regina. We went straight to the eye docter place even thow we had like 20min before our apointments. When I finaly got in we went through some tests. My favourite test was the one when I had to look into a machine at a little house. Then she told me that I had 20 20 vision.

This Summer I went to the Weybern fair.I didn't go on the rides because they all spin and I don't like that. So I just played the games and I won a Tiger, a Duck, an alien and a bear. My favourite game was a cork shooting game.

On the weekend I went to Reginu. It was my cousin`s birthday. After the party we went to Costo. In Costco I didn`t buy any thing. Then we went to Tim-Hortons. I didn`t go in. Then we went home.

On Easter holiday I went to Walking With Dinousors. There was Stegusorus, T Rex, Rapters and Trisairutops. At the end I got a modl Stegusorus. It was funny at the end because the Rapter would not go in the certins. I liked when the plants blew up.

Best thing about Grade 1

The best thing about Grade 1 is the trips because you get stuf. We went to Ogamo. We get to ride on the bus. We eat in difrint plasis. Another fun thing about Grade 1 is doozer words because it is fun reading them.
