Wow, did we ever get a lot of snow over the weekend! The buses weren't able to drive through the streets and many students couldn't come to school on Monday. Look how many students came to our class! We were a small but mighty group.

We have been studying the five senses. Today we had a little taste test to try some foods that are salty, sweet, sour & bitter. We ate popcorn, a cookie, a lemon & unsweetened chocolate. Can you guess which one was our favourite?

Miss Mondor has been teaching us about the earth. We've really enjoyed working at different centers about rocks. We keep track of everything that we learn in our science journals.

This week we joined other elementary classrooms at the church. Miss Cey explained the different areas of the church and the parts of the mass. Some of us even got to see our names written in the baptismal register. Then we had a special celebration to celebrate our faith.
