Wow moments (stories from the heart)


Students are learning how to write a narrative story. They will post parts of their stories, and teachers will conference with some students online. We will also use podcasts to share experencies, reflect about the writing process, and share strategies that have helped us become better writers.

Using the Blog

To post your story on the blog follow these steps:
1. Login to the blog using your username and password.
2. Click on "Articles" to post your story.
3. Name your story with the part you are publishing. Ex.(Beginning draft of bike story)
4. Type your story in the box.
5. Click the box that says: "Request Publishing"
10. Click the "Save" button.
11. Logout of the blog.

To see the comments about your story:
1. Login in using your username and password.
2. Click on "Articles"
3. Scroll down and you will see a list of your posted stories or parts.
4. Click on one of them and you will see comments listed at the bottom of your article.
5. Your comments from Ms. Poole are not public. You can only see them when you login to your account. Other comments from teachers and parents will be displayed in the "comment" link after they are reviewed. You do not need to login to see these comments and anyone can see them.
