  • Prayer
  • Teach: "Get ready, 3, 2, 1 ... SLANT, please." acronym that means: Sit up. Listen to the speaker. Ask and answer questions. Nod your head. Track the speaker.
  • Listening Activity: Getting Into Listening
Listen to the story & especially listen for the words 'in' or 'to/two/too' or 'into'
Respond each time you hear those words by clicking twice for 'to/two/too'. clapping once for 'in', and standing up for 'into' (Read story 1)
If you are losing interest in a lecture pick out a few words and see if you can spot every time the teacher uses them. This helps you focus, improves listening skills, and prevents boredom.

    Wednesday Workday 11-18-09

  • Prayer
  • You will be assessed this Marking Period on your blog. This is the rubric which I will use to tally results.
  • Read, Reflect upon, & Respond to these points: (12:23-12:43)
    1. According to Jeremiah 13:23, what is impossible for mankind to change about himself?
    2. God does not change, even though mankind often does. Numbers 23:19 and 1 Samuel 15:29
    3. Sadly, this change is the one that leads to eternal death. Jeremiah 2:11 and Romans 1:23.
    4. When Jesus returns to the earth everyone living and dead will experience this change. 1 Corinthians 15:51
    5. From morning to evening we see this change. But God is not fickle. He doesn't treat some people better than others. James 1:17.
Your answer will reflect your learning and your worship. What worship? Yes, your worship of our Lord is reflected in the time, effort, dedication you put forth in responding to this. [Hint: you can look up Bible verses at Biblegateway
