Qualities of a Good Mentor A good mentor is somebody who has a positive energy. They are committed to his or her job. A good mentor educates their mentees and gives them good advice in life. Also, they have 10 or more years of experience of mentoring. A good mentor takes notes or keeps a journal. A good mentor listens to their mentee. A mentor suceeds in mentoring their mentees.
