Clara Barton
This month my class was reading biographies, and I read a biography on Clara Barton.
Clara Barton was born December 25th, 1821 in North Oxford, Massachusetts. The most important thing to know about Clara is that she was a great teacher. This is important because learning is important and that is where you get knowledge, so she taught a lot of important things. I also learned that Clara helped soldiers in war by bringing them food, clothes, and notes from their loved ones. The most amazing thing I learned, though, was that Clara joined the Red Cross team and became leader of the Red Cross team. Finally, Clara died April 12, 1912 in Maryland. So that is what Clara Bartons' life was like. Who is your favroite biography about?
