 Dear Freshy:) You made it! Congratulations for passing 8th grade! Being a Freshman is completely different than all of your previous years in school. You have a lot more free time, but also a lot more responsibilities. Every year the teachers warn you and tell you that the next year is going to be much harder. They do that to make sure you’re prepared for the next year and ready to take on whatever comes at you. For some students it works, and for some it doesn’t. This year everything changes. If you’re not organized and you get behind, it’s extremely hard to catch up. From now on you have to take your work seriously. There is fun stuff that you get to do though. Like this year you get to go to homecoming and pep rallies. You also get to see the high school talent show. As long as you keep up with your work and as long as you don’t slack, this should be a completely amazing year for you. Welcome to your first year of high school! Good luck!!
