I jumped in the car and we sped off. “Where are we going?”, said Stephen. I explained to Granddad that we were going to go to De Brett's spa pools in Taupo for something to do while Mum was at work. I said to Stephen, “I'm so excited that we are actually going”.
We arrived at De Brett's and I could not wait.When we went to pay we saw a ginormous water slide. I told Stephen I’d never seen a water slide like that before! It was a Sunday afternoon and we ran to the changing rooms to get changed.I came out and I sprinted to the top of the stairs. Whoosh! I was going down the slide - bang, crash, bang, crash! I finally came out at the bottom. That was fun! Then I went to the kids playground but it was too babyish for me so I hopped into the spa pool. We went to the changing rooms again and got dressed. I didn’t want to leave but Stephen said, “we have to Josh”. We hopped in to the car and zoomed off.
We also went to the AC Baths with Granddad. There were slides there too. I went down one of the slides and I went in the spa pools too. There were huge swings in the water. I had lunch and it was yummy. I was exhausted! I was dozing off on the way home in the car.
Wow, I had so much fun at De Bretts and the AC Baths! I would love to go back there again one day.
