Camp Whakamaru Fairy Tale

Article posted June 17, 2011 at 01:40 AM GMT • comment (1) • Reads 104

The blog assignment this week is to create a simple fairy tale and illustrate it with pictures from camp.  Below you will find a shared writing example the class has created.  You may also visit student blogs to see thier own versions.

It is also a great way to view the excellent camp pictures.

Lake Whakamaru Fairy Tale!

Once upon a time on small island there lived a Terrific Teacher!

The Terrific Teacher was called away to a distant village to help children learn to count.

Meanwhile a friend of Terrific Teacher, Samson, was quickly climbing the clifff face to escape the Terrific Teacher's twin brother, Terrible Teacher!

When Samson reached the top he called out for help. Students from far and wide came to the Island to help stop Terribe Teacher.

The students were frightened, but they made a plan. They set out in search of Terrible Teacher.

When they found him they let Terrible Teacher chase them out on a log in the Swamp of Stink and pushed him in, never to be seen again!

When Terrific Teacher returned, he was happy to see his terrific students working together in their learning.

( Nobody told him about Terrible Teacher!)

The End!
