Show Not Tell - The Gas Station
Once I got to the gas station I heard the sound of the machine. I also smelled the gas coming from the machine. It was awful! I quickly closed the window before the smell came in the car. But my mom said it would be better if I just went out of the car, so I did. Once I got out I touched the car and then looked at my hand and it was all grey. I told my mom that I bet it would be better if we also washed the car, and she agreed. We waited until the car got full of gas then they washed the car. I stood next to them to see how they do it, and all of a sudden I got splashed with water. My sister saw me and burst out laughing! I went to tell her to be quiet so I did and then she said sorry. We waited for a very long time until they were done and then we left.
