This year we did some projects that we need to know how to think. One of the examples is project business. The reason why Project business is thinking is that we were learning how to run a business and finding out what how to get a cotton candy machine. That is just one of the of the projects that we did this year that involved thinking.

Playoffs??????

The Leafs are several points out of a playoff spot. With eight games remaining they have to win all of them and hope Buffalo and Carolina lose three or more games to make the playoffs. There are some tough teams ahead for the Leafs like Detroit Red Wings, Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, Washington Capitals and Montreal Canadiens.
If the Leafs make it to the playoffs they will either face Philadelphia Flyers who are currently in first in the eastern conference. Washington might face them because they're one point back of the Flyers. I would rather the Leafs face Washington because they have less super stars than the Flyers.
Most of the success is due to James Reimer with his outstanding saves. Since he came up from the minors he recorded three shutouts and seventeen wins. James is six in their league in save percentage with .923. The offence success is attributed to the first line. They are Mikhail Grabovski, Nikolai Kulemin and Clarke MacArthur. They combine for 166 points. The defence is the strong point in the Leafs with players like Luke Schenn and Dion Phaneuf. The whole team is playing well except Brett Lebda.

More trades

There were two trades in the last couple of days. One of them was Kris Versteeg for a first and third round pick for this year. The other trade wasn't that big. It was a seven round pick for Aaron Voros, who will be in the AHL for the remainder of the season.
The Versteeg trade was stupid because they gave a pretty good prospect in Viktor Stalberg to get him and now they got a first round pick. But it will be high up in the standings which probably is not going to be better than Stalberg.
Versteeg is on pace for his third straight 20-goal season and may have a shot at challenging his career-best 53-point season in 2008-2009. That will depend on where he fits with his new team. In Toronto it's a new place for a rookie to give it a try.

Trades?

There was been one trade in the NHL this week. It was Francois Beauchemin being traded back to the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday in exchange for forward Joffrey Lupul, defenceman Jake Gardiner and a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2013.
I think that it was a good trade because the Leafs have depth in defence with Luke Schenn, Dion Phaneuf and Tomas Kaberle who might be gone if he waves his no trade clause. Jake Gardiner is a good defencemen and going to replace Beauchemin in the future.
The players on the block are Tomas Kaberle and Kris Versteeg. Jean Sebastien Giguere is also on the block because of James Reimer. Reimer is hot by keeping the Leafs in games. Kris Versteeg will be a stupid trade because who will you get for him?
That's why these players are on the block. I hope that there are more trades before the deadline.

trade rumors in Toronto

I think that Brain Buke is waiting for the right trade. What is the right trade? Everyone is thinking that it is getting a super goalie or a defenceman. I think that will be stupid for Toronto. Why? Toronto needs a scorer, we need a finisher to score good goals and keep the fans on their feet.
The player I hope they get is Jason Spezza because he is on the block and he a play maker and a scorer that is from Toronto. One player I can't make my mind up about is Brad Richards. He is a good player overall. The down side is he is 30 years old in the new NHL, the young guns are the way to go.
The player I hope the Leafs don't get is Bobby Ryan. Bobby is a kind of a grinder but can score if in the right spot. The Leafs already got Colby Armstrong who is the same kind of player.

The seconded line in Toronto is a big one, scoring most of the goals. The line is centered by Mikhail Grabovski. The last five games were good for Mikhail. He registered six ponts and he was +5. The wingers are Nikolai Kulemin and Clarke Macarthur.
Nikolai's last five games were good with points and a +2. Clarke Macarthur is the big steal for the Leafs but his last five games were not the greatest.
Mikhail Grabovski is not the best center but his league rankings are

I think that grabovski is going to be traded on the deadline or sooner. I think that teams are looking for a good center. The bad thing are that he is a big part of are power play and depenes on the right tade to.

Injuries in Toronto

Dion is is injured with a cut on his right leg. The Leaf's captain sat out his ninth straight game. The Leafs are missing Colby Armstorng with a broken finger. They are missing their star goaly Jean Sebastien Giguere with a groin injury.
These injuries are a big loss to the Leafs. Dion Phaneuf is a big loss because of he plays a big leadership role on the team. Colby Armstrong is a big loss because of he is a big hitter and his skill on the penalty kill. Jean Sebastien Giguere has a leadership role and he is the number one goaly on the Leafs. He is because he saves a lot of shots.
That is why we need them back.

Luke Schenn

Luke Schenn is number 2 and his height is 6' 2" and he weighs 229 pounds. He shoots right. He was born: 2 Nov., 1989 (age 21) and he was born in Saskatoon, SK., Canada with his brother Braden. Luke Schenn was picked by Toronto in 08 in the 1st round, 5th overall. He is the best prospect on the Leafs. He is the Leafs best pick in ten years. He is logging 23:40 of ice time in the last five games and has made some good plays like stopping goals and making big hits. He has 1 goal in the last five games. It was against Nashvile and he has 1 assist against Vancouver.
He is my favorite player because he is from Saskatoon and and he is a defencemen, so am I. I think that Luke Schenn is a future captain and a first line player. He should lock down a big contract. I would pay him 20 million over 4 years. The reason I would is because he is an under rated player. He is very good and he is a rising star. Dion Phaneuf is going to teach Luke a lot.

These scores are just my guesses. These are the reasons I think that the Leafs are going win seven out of 15.
The first reason is that Dion Phaneuf is injured for up to six weeks. Dion Phaneuf is a big loss because he is the Leafs captain. Dion is is a key player on the Leafs because he can inspire the team with a goal, a hit or a fight. His skills on the power play and penalty kill.
Another they are going to win seven out of 15 is because Phil Kessel only has 7 goals and 2 assists this season. He has to be better because he is considered in the top ten players in the NHL.

Players that I would trade

The players I would trade are Mike Komisarek because the Leafs have depth in defence. Mike Komisarek can be trade for a top 20 forward if the Leafs trade Komisarek. We have a lot of rookies the are waiting for a chance like Keith Aulie. He is 6 feet-5 inches and he is 21 years old. Juraj Mikus is h 6-4 and he is 22 years old. That is who I would trade if I was in Brian Burke's shoes.
