Another reporter caught hold of the frindle story and I just thought to myself like this is way to much for just one small word war. Nick although did get on tv and told the whole frindle story. A westfield celebrity named Bud thompson was rich and saw this frindle and created a factory full he mad millions of hundred thousands but after Tom allen nicks dad sighned contracts saying Nick owned the work Nick got a share of the money! But I felt that nicks dad was really responsable when he said for Bud not to tell Nick because he will stop mowing the lawns and take buying items for granted. Although after reading what kind of person he is I think he's greedy because every big thing coming out he uses his money to get credit and get paid for most stuff. Nick turned out as a celebrity at Lincoln elementary and everything was back to the same except for spelling test. Mrs. granger always started off with Pen spelled P.E.N but everyone still spelled it F-R-I-N-D-L-E.

I have just read chapters 12-14 in Frindle. Right now Bud is selling lots of things and he gives 30 percent of the money he makes to Nick for college. Nick wants the letter Mrs. Granger was going to give him but she said it wasn't over so she didn't. I think that now people aren't too crazy about the word anymore. Also, BUd needed Mr. Allen's signature so that he could use the word and he did but I think he should of asked Nick first. Will Mrs. Granger ever give up? I hope so because I really want to soo what she wrote. I wish I were NIck because he amkes a fortune and he gets to ride in a limo. He must really like his life!! Soon after Frindle got old, Nick started acting different. I wonder why? Then the book said that Frindle was becoming a real word and I predict that it will soon be in the dictionary! If it is that would be cool. I have one more chapter to read and I hope that my questions will get answered!

Chapter 12- Nick is becoming very popular and everyone recognizes him as the one who invented the frindle. Even though Nick's parents are irritated but they are also pleased. Nick and his are being put on the news too. After a while a person named Bud Lawrence starts selling frindle things but Nick's dad needs to sign papers to do it. Nick will get a 3rd of the money from all the sells. Nick's dad sets up an account for Nick's frindle money at the bank.
Chapter 13- Life goes back to normal but the sign that says Welcome To Westfield had a new sign underneath that says Home of the Original frindle.
Chapter 14- Nick was still Nick on the outside but on the inside he gets a little scared of new ideas because of what happened with the word frindle. On the last day of school Nick goes to say by to Mrs. Granger. She tells him he had been quite latly and to just be himself. He thanks her for the advice and says good- by to her.
I predict Mrs. Granger is now going to use the word frindle.
I predict Mrs. Granger is going to retire.
I predict Nick will buy Mrs. Granger a new dictionary.
I think Mrs. Granger has grown to be nicer throughout the year. I think even though she is really strict when Nick is older he will look back on her as his favorite teacher.

I have just finished reading chapters 12-14 in frindle. Nicks dad is about to sign a contract so everyone in china can know the new word frindle. Nicks dad wasn't so sure if he should sign it but the Bud Lawrence said that nick could earn a lot of money for doing it so nicks dad signed the contract. But i think it's weird that nicks dad (mr. Allen) didn't even ask nick if nick wanted to do it. I don't think Mrs. Granger is gonna give up on trying to get rid of the word frindle even though everyone in china is about to know about it.

A reporter named Alice came with CBS and interviewed people at Nick's school. Then she went to Nick's house. His parents didn't trust reporters. So they tapped on Nick's foot when he shouldn't answer a question and they would answer it for him. His Dad went to Bud the person who was making Frindle products. Bud said he wanted to own word. Nick's Dad said he could and Bud gave him $2,250 for Nick's bank and Nick would get 30% of the sales. I predict the word will spread over the world.

Hello, I know what you are thinking. " Molly, why are you still reading Frindle!?!?" I am still reading it because we have to read it in chapters, so here are some predictions that I made.
chapter#12 I predict that Nick will be on T.V. That prediction was confirmed he did get on television because of his new word.
chapter#13 I predict that nick will be enemies with Mrs.Granger. That prediction was confirmed and rejected because #1. it was rejected because it isn't the end of the book, #2. it was confirmed because so far in the book they aren't friends.
chapter#14 I predict that Nick will follow what what his mind is saying. That was confirmed because Nick wanted to keep his idea about the lunch to himself so he did.
thats all I had to read today so talk o you in my next article " Frindle chapters 14-15.

I just read chapters 12-14 Frindle. Everyones all over Nick because he made up the new word (Frindle). I predicted that he is wishing he DIDN'T make up the word right now because he doesn't want to be the center of attention. Nick also got to go on to t.v. and I thought that people all over the U.S.A. will start using the word Frindle. I also think Mrs. Granger still hasn't given up on there fight I think she just acts like it.I can't wait to keep reading!

These chapter's were sad because Nick grew up! I think nick will grow up then give the frindle to his kids and tell them the story and show the word he made up in the dictionary. I thought that the letter would say that the word finally stopped but it actually said that frindle went in the dictionary!
