This book was about a boy and his dad. The boy is going to a summer camp, the same one his dad went to. He is going because he wants to make his dad happy. The dad is going to California for a business trip, he wants to get a promotion. The boy suddenly doesn't want to go to the summer camp and wishes he could be someone else. Suddenly the boy, Ape Face finds himself in the bathroom! Ape Face has a beard now to! This could only mean one thing... Read it and find out for your self!

The whole 4th grade went to the Museum of Science and Industry. It was super fun we did a Simple Machines Class where we got to use and build simple machines. Then we had lunch and looked at all the exhibits, there was a weather exhibit where there was a tornado type thing also in the weather where it showed a tsunami in a big tub of water! Another exhibit was the hampster wheel exhibitit was cool beause you got to run on a human size hampster wheel! There where so many exhibits and it was ssssssooooooo cool=http://!

The smell of new expo markers filled the air! It was the first week of school and I was so excited because I go to Greenbriar and it is the best school ever and I’ll tell you why!
Greenbriar is cool because we have musicals. Musicals are fun because we get to do them in 4th and 5th grade so if you don’t get the part you want one year you always have another year. Mrs. Jacobson our music teacher who is also director of the musicals is very nice she understands if you didn’t get a chance to memorize your lines and she gives you a couple more days!
Another reason why Greenbriar is fun is because we get 2 playgrounds and if in K-2nd grade you get tired of the playground, next year you get to go to a different playground. The other good thing about having 2 playgrounds is if on 1 playground the school is having construction done then you don’t have to miss recess.
The last reason why Greenbriar is awesome is that we have super duper nice teachers, they understand if you where really busy the night before and you didn’t get to do your homework then they are nice and they give you another night!
Those are just a COUPLE reasons why Greenbriar is awesome! Gotta go recess time!

The Markowitz family is a jewish family that lived in Russia and is immigrating to america because of pogroms. Pogroms are people who do not like jews so they team up against jews and wreck their stores and stuff like that. So the Marks family decided to immigrate to America. The boat ride was a nasty ride everyone was seasick, you where crammed into the steerage of the boat, and you couldn't communicate with anyone because you didn't speak the same langauge. After the boat ride they went to Ellis Island to get checked to see if they had any sickness. Then they went to America to start a new life they had to get jobs in factory's which was really hard. Eventually they adjusted, Sasha the oldest son got married, and Nathen,and emma went to school!

I love soccer you sort of venture out when you start it because you can get really hurt but besides that it is very fun! I was in a quandary when I was in 2 grade because I sort of liked soccer but I didn’t know if I wanted to start travel! In soccer you have to be very keen because sometimes you don’t know where the ball went but if you are very keen you can see the ball even when normal people can’t. I play midfield and I like to posses the ball but I like to pass if somebody tries to steel the ball from me! My coach tries to elucidate how to do a couple of plays to us but when we actually get it he gets really excited! When we are on the field we scrutinize the WHOLE field just in case an opponent we could scarcely see is sneaking up the field for a pass! I love soccer you would be able to tell if you came to my house we have plenty of soccer balls!!!

Last week we finished ISATS and we usually do that in the early morning so we got that over with pretty quickly so that took a lot of pressure off the whole class. After that we had P.E. with Mrs. Edwards class and then read Night of the Twisters and did our reveiw sheet. Then we went to lunch and recess after that we read ind. and then had science which we started studing for our test. Then we went to music and worked on the musical. Then we packed up and went home! Then the rest of the week I was sick!!!

This week we worked on a ton of things but here are the most important!
In math we started learning about fractions. We learned about the improper fractions, the mixed number fractions, and that you can find if a fractions is in simplest form. You know if a fraction is in simples form if there are no common factor in numerator/denominator.
We're also learning about weather. Ginger Zee came and told us about how thunder storms and tornados are formed. But in school we learned about rain, clouds, air pressure, precipitation, anemometer, wind vane, barometer, humidity, hygrometer, and rain gauge!
We also learned about colonies. We watched a video on the region are colony is in. And we made a script on our colony. We wrote about the jobs, colonial life, geography, religion, slavery, government, and a couple other stuff that I don't remember! and we are going to make the script into a voice thread!
My week was awesome!:)

I just finished Frindle. I think there are a couple lessons in this book.
#1. Keep going no matter what!
#2. Try your hardest!
#3. Even when times are hard keep your head up and they will get better!
I liked this book because you never knew what was going to happen next! You would of never expected for Nick to go on T.V. or for Mrs. Granger to call herself the villain! I loved this book I would recommend this book to anybody that is creative!!!

Today Ginger Zee came to our school to talk to us about weather. She is a meteorologist that means she studies weather! She also told us the four basic steps on how to predict the weather. She works on NBC5 weather channel. Ginger told us that we can send her pictures of our class and she will put us on T.V. Once when she was 8 she was play ing on the beach and her little brother started screaming because there was a water spout in the ocean and Ginger said she just starred at the spout until her mother said she had to go inside! I learned that there is a lot more math and science in weather than I thought! I can't wait to go on T.V.

I just read chapters 12-14 Frindle. Everyones all over Nick because he made up the new word (Frindle). I predicted that he is wishing he DIDN'T make up the word right now because he doesn't want to be the center of attention. Nick also got to go on to t.v. and I thought that people all over the U.S.A. will start using the word Frindle. I also think Mrs. Granger still hasn't given up on there fight I think she just acts like it.I can't wait to keep reading!

I just read chapters 5-8 in Frindle! In the next chapter Nick has to finish a report on dictionaries he has to do for Mrs. Granger! I was wondering if he has to do the report in 1 night? Nick just thought an idea while he was doing his report. I think that Mrs. Granger won't like his idea at first but then as the idea gets better she WILL like the idea more and more! Nick is about to give his report and he is very nervous! I can connect with him when I'm about to do a report I get nervous too! Nick also found a pen on the ground and named it frindle. I can't wait to keep reading!!

i'm reading the book Frindle. There is a boy Nick Allen who has all these crazy ideas like in 3rd grade he decided to turn his classroom into a beach but when he did it the teacher didn't care just the principle did! In 4th grade he made a loud peeep i the classroom and kept doing it until finally the teacher blamed it on somebody who didn't do it and then he got that girl to do it to!! When I was reading I asked the question do the teachers like his ideas? This year Nick is going into 5th grade. Everybody talks about how the 5th grade teacher Mrs. Granger is. I wonder if she really is that bad though! I predict if Nick tries to do one of his ideas then mrs. Granger will catch him and he will get in trouble. I also infer that Mrs. Granger will be mean at first but once you get to know her and follow her rules she will be a lot nicer and Nick will have a lot of fun with her!!! I can't wait to keep reading!!!

If a car ever pulled up next up to me I would run away and try to catch the lisense plate. But if the guy came back after mr I wold run away to the nearest Block Prent house and stay there till the car drives away!!!! I don't want that to happen though!

This week we started learning about Colonies. We each got assigned a Colony. My colony was Virginia. I learned a lot about Jamestown. And how they started the government! I started the 3 Harry Potter and I love the series! And in math we were learning about angles and geometery!! I can't wait for the weekend and next week!!!!

I just finished reading Escape The Wave in alit circle group with Cara, John, Kevin and Colleen. The book was about a teenager named Kyle going to Oregon with his parents and little sister. He just started babysitting BeeBee, his little sister! So when they go on vacation Kyle has to babysit BeeBee. When they got to the beach they saw a sign about a Tsunami saying if there is an Earthquake you should go up hill so you can't get hit by the wave. The night that Kyle had to babysit BeeBee an Earthquake hit. When the earthquake hit it started a fire. So BeeBee and Kyle had to escape the fire once. Once they got out of the fire they started uphill because of the tsunami. On the way uphill they met a couple and went uphill with them. They saw the first wave hit and it was really high so they decided to go up higher for the 2 wave but the couple couldn't go up any higher so Kyle and BeeBee had to go by themselves! When the 2 wave came they hid behind a tree and the wave hit there feet but didn't take them away but finally after that they were reunited with here parents=http://!! I really liked this book!!!

Christmas!!
Christmas is awesome!!! I love the decorations and the SNOW!
We put lights on a pole that holds up our house. Green and Red lights go there!!! We also put lights on our tree. The lights on the tree light up the whole room, giving it a Christmas glow! My dad hates putting up the lights because he is allergic to the tree!!! But luckily he can survive Christmas because he stays as far away from the tree as possible. The ornaments are super cool! I think, “What is a tree without ornaments?” The ornaments are like a spice, they make the tree more colorful, and creative! My mom sits on the ground unwrapping the ornaments from their package while my dad puts them up high because we can’t reach up that high and Ryan, Charlotte, and I run and put them down low!
I also love Christmas because of the SNOW! Every year my dad, Ryan, and I make a snow fort in our backyard. We have blocks that make snowblocks. The snowblocks are green and they are rectangles they also have a handle so you can hold it. Ryan and I put the snowblocks on the fort while my dad makes the blocks! After we make a snowfort. The fort is usually the size of a tree house!!!( Not the height) We make a snowman. First we make one in our yard and then we move on to our neighbors house and they usually give toffee!!!
I love christmas, everyones mood seems to lighten up! Christmas is awesome=http://!!!!

I'm starting my first Harry Potter. Why doesn't Mr. and Mrs. Dursley like the Potters. Why is it so amazing that Harry didn't get killed by Voldermont? Does the names Dumbledore, Hagrid, and Professer McGonagall mean anything? What does the scar mean on Harry's head? I can't wait to read more=http://

My Winter Break was awsome. On the first Sunday we had a "Christmas" with our younger cousins. We played wii with them! (we mostly won) After dinner we watched all of our winter sing's. Monday and Tuesday I went to a bunch of parties. On Wensday we were walking in the shopping mall when Charlotte goes"I see Diana the babysitter!"Then my mom remembers that she needed to do some private shopping. So we had a baby sitter! Thursday we a different babysitter Alex. Then we went ice skating. Christmas Eve we ate dinner, and went to church, when we opened presents we found out that my Aunt was going to have a BABY!! Christmas day I got an Electric scooter and we went sledding! On Monday we went to Chicago on the way their Charlotte and Ryan each puked twice! We saw the faces the bean and got stuffed Pizza! Tuesday we went to our friend's house for dinner and found out we were goining to Wisconsin on Thursday! Wensday I played with the same friend and was very giddy! Thursday we packed and drove! After the pizza dinner we played in the water park. There was a Yellow and Orange water slide that you used a tube. There was a lazy river a regular pool baby slide and slide you didn't need a tube. On Friday we played in the water park and then went to a New Years Party. After the party we got ice cream. Saturday we played in the waterpark, drove home and shopped. Sunday we watched the Bears game with my aunt and uncle! And now it's 2011!!!!

In the witch's it was dark, cold, and musty. I couldn't hear or see anything! Suddenly I bumped into something big and black. I tried to go to the side of it but it was too long. I tried yo go under it but I was on wood floor. Finally I tried to jump over it and I made it! As soon as I had gotten up on it I bumped into another one. I tried going up it and it worked! I realized they were stairs! I hopped all the way up them until I got to the top! I was soon blinded by a super bright light! As soon as I recovered I saw a giant money making machine and a giant table filled with food! I saw doors that kept opening and closing figuring that was where the food was coming from. I went in and there were people everywhere I saw a big bowl of soup I started pouring the mouse maker in when a person saw me, they started screaming a mouse a mouse th grand high witch yelled back get the cat so that is why I'm running for my life know=http://!!

Minerals and atoms make crystals. The atoms go together to make shapes. Gems don't usually come in the shapes you see them in jewlery they are cut different ways. Gems have different strengths. Diamond is 10 because only another diamond can scratch a diamond. Talc is 1. There are the 4 C's cut,carat weight,clarity and color. A type of gem is the Diamond it can be blue, red, and yellow but the most common is colorless! Pearls are white, light pink and a creamy color! Miners find gems under the ground!

My Halloween was so fun! I was a clown!!! I had a yellow shirt with a little white in the middle that had bright red buttons on it!!! My pants were plaid blue, red, yellow, and green! My jacket was the same as the pants but at the bottom it was all green and that was were the GIANT buttons were!! I had a rainbow wig that under it you could not tell who I was! On my face I took red makeup and put it around my mouth to make it big! At one house there was a giant bowl of candy and there was no note for how many to take so me and my friend took tons of handfuls!!! MY HALLOWEEN WAS AWESOME=http://!!!

I'm reading There is a Boy in The Girl's Bathroom!!! It's about a boy who is new to the school and he has to sit next to someone who nobody else wants to sit next to and the boy who nobody wants to sit next to lies to his mother telling her that he gets all A's and he is nice to everybody!!! Then his mother goes to a parent teacher conference and she finds out the truth and the boy goes to a counsler and little does he know the new kid is going to but the new kid gets lost and goes into the girls bathroom!!! Then the new kid tells the boy and they become friends well kind of because the boy wants to go into the girls bathroom but the new kid keeps putting it up!!!
