A Poem for my Older Cousin

You’re not just my older cousin

But family, friend, and role model

You love me with all your heart

And I know you don’t want to be apart

Not seeing you until certain days

Because you are very far away

Over seas is farther then you think

And when I close my eyes

I know you are by my side

In my heart I can feel you

Supporting me no matter what

No matter where you are

You will always be there for me!
