I am reding the book Bounce by Natasha Friend. In it I have just read chapters 6 through 14. Within these chapters Evyn has become friends with the "It Girls", the most popular girls in school. She has to give them facts about her stepbrother "Clenser Boy", or his real name Ajax to have them stay her friend. They asked who he likes, but Evyn has to come up with something, or get kicked out of the group. About three days later she goes to her fathers wedding, and the only good thing that happens is that she gets to dance with Linus, her, her new step brother.
A few days later the Social coming up at Evyn's school. The social is a dance thatthis year Evyn has to find a way to get Ajax to dance with the right girl. Once they get to the dance EVERYTHING goes wrong. The day after the Social Evyn's father comes home. Instead of Evyn getting alone time with him he is fussing over everyone, everyone except Evyn that is.
