The theme of the book Cut by Patricia McCormick
In the book Cut by Patricia McCormick I think that he theme is “there are different ways to solve your problems then to do hazardous things to your body.” The reason why I think that is the theme because in the book Cut the main character Callie has a bunch of problems at home. So one day after school nobody was home because Callie’s brother was in the hospital and her mom was staying there with him and Callie's dad was at work and she found a sharp knife so Callie took the knife and she cut herself. Then after that she kept doing that for a while until she need to go to Sick Minds to be treated. That is why I think that the theme of the book Cut should be “there are different ways to solve your problems then to do hazardous things to your body.”
