Swimming.

On Thursdays I go to swimming lessons at the Blue Baths. My swimming coach’s name is Ken. He has a big swimming pool. The pool is shallow on one side and deep and deeper and deeper until you can’t touch the ground. Sometimes we have to try.

Koko’s Birthday.

My Koko had two birthdays on the weekend. I gave him a bag and nut chocolates because they are his favourite chocolates. We had Mallowpuffs and fairy bread and strawberries. The cake was white chocolate and we watched a movie called Magic. It was magic.

Orienteering.

On Friday 23rd of October Year 2’s had a Camp Out Day. First Room 22 went Orienteering around the school. To find words was hard. It was n the sand. We went to the hall and the ‘L seat’ was hiding it. We needed a map and a piece of paper, so we could write on it and a pencil for writing. But our team didn’t work together. We split up.

Rainbow Springs.

The Kiwi Dad hides in the bushes somewhere in the forest. They go behind trees at night. Luka was pretending to be a Kiwi that was grey and white. Stoats like to eat Kiwis. Moas are extinct because Maori people ate them. The Kea was very loud. The Kereru are white and grey too. The Tuatara is the only dinosaur in the land. Some Ducks are endangered because they are getting shot by some people.

Low Wire Challenge.

In the Low Wire Challenge we had to swing fast and we weren’t allowed to touch the ground otherwise we would go back to the other side again and go again. When you do get to swing across to the other person, then they swung across to the side. Then we went across to the tree. Some people helped them.

Burma Trail.

Last Friday room 22 and room 19,18 and 21 went to Tent day. Last of all room 22 got blindfolded. We had a partner it was Pippa. She was blindfolded and I was too. We did it in Waitawa Bush. The trees were prickly. Team work is helping people turn around the trees and bushes.

Junior Production.

Our production is Stars in our Eyes. The Juniors are going to dance to different songs. Room 22 are going to dance to High School Musical. We do star jumps then we do the grapevine. I wore red pants and a pretty red shirt.

Ballet.

On the holiday I did a ballet show at Rangiuru School. It was called Peter and the Wolf. I was the wall. There was a duck and wolf and Peter, the little bird and fox. I was dressed in grey and purple.
