Run Bike Run

Last Friday, guess what we did, a Run Bike Run. All of the Lynmore School’s children took part in this event.
So there I was at the starting line ready to run, I was really nervous. One two three, Boom! We were off! I started to slow down through Waitawa Bush. Up by Room 12 (my classroom) and out of the school and onto Larcy Road. We went down to Neil Hunt Park and then back into the school.
Whoosh, grabbed my bike and back through where I did the run. I could hear the year 3’s cheering. Onto Larcy Road, I was really tired. I saw my dad and I got a drink from him. I raced to the finishing place.
To finish the race we had to run again. So I had to run near cars. I didn’t worry too much about the cars because I had to go up the road and through a gate, back down the other side and into the school grounds. A cool obstacle course to go through, and I raced to the finish line. I could hear my class cheering me on. Whoosh, over the finish line.
I was hot and so exhausted. I felt like my legs were made of jelly. What a day! At the end I got an icy cold ice block. Now that cooled me down!
