On my thanksgiving I watched NFL thanksgiving day football the Lions and the Patriots and the Cowboys v. Saints. On our dinner I had turkey and stuffing, mash potatoes, sweet potato rosoto and bread. I had it with my brothers and my dad and his girlfriend. On thanksgiving weekend I went up to wisconsin and stayed in the Ostoff resort. The night before thanksgiving it was also relaxing because I finally got to sleep all the way to 11:30. I love sleeping in. Preparing for thanksgiving dinner me and my bros got to help make the stuffing and the rosoto. That was my thanksgiving.

During thanksgiving break my cousins came over to my house. My favorite part of the night was when we made my cousin Patrick "The Beast".This was my favorite part of the night because we would lock Patrick in my dog's cage and feed him doritos through the bars. This was so funny because he would have to be poked to make him listen. When we let him out he would run around and chase people. After this was over I made a lanyard,it was black, white, gold and orange. When I got bored of that I listened to music.Afterwards I ate dinner.I don't like turkey, but I love pie. After dinner people started to leave,so I went to bed, and that was the end of my Thanksgiving.

Amelia -- My Thanksgiving

Well, I'm back to taking notes and working my brain. But, I did have a very nice and yummy Thanksgiving break. I had lots of food, like always, and welcomed my grandma into our house because she was going to eat with us. Every year we always make sure we eat too much because we don't have dinner. On Thanksgiving we don't go anywhere because we like to relax and spend some time at home. We always have a dessert and my favorite is the whipped cream. I know that is more of something you put on a dessert but I still love having it plain. My favorite food of the feast would either be the stuffing or corn bread. For about the whole week I stayed home, did a little shopping, helped set up the Christmas decorations, did my book report, and added a little fun here and there. I love food and Thanksgiving, but all this writing about food is making me hungry. Bye bye, I'm going to eat now. :)

George -- My thanksgiving break

During my thanksgiving break first we had a thanksgiving lunch with my grand parents and our cousins. Then the next day we set of in the car for a six hour drive to my Uncle Peter's cabin in northeastern Wisconsin. Once we got there we first unpacked Then their new puppy, Mingus who is eight months old but slightly bigger then their other dog Tibor who is about half the size of me and he's older then I am. So when Mingus first saw me he tried to run up to me but my Aunt Michelle was holding his collar until we were all in the room with the dog fence. Then I watched football and part of the Simpsons movie until my sisters were asleep so then we watched Iron Man 2. The next day we went sledding because in Wisconsin there was six inches of snow. Then we watched an hour or two of Spongebob. Then the next day we went sledding again watched some more football then I took Mingus for a walk but once I fell over once he took off. Then when I finally caught up to him he was at the sledding hill then before I could grab the leash he took of back to the cabin. By that time I was worn out from chasing him so then we played U-Build Monopoly and had hot chocolate. Then Aunt Michelle taught me and my dad how to play Yatzee. Then after dad knew how to play he wanted to play again and again. So eventually after two games I went into the dog room to watch some more football. Then when the girls got in the tub I took of sledding... again. Then in the evening after a lovely ham dinner we watched a movie called Zoolander. The guy who played Derek Zoolander had a funny accent. Then the next day we had a sledding trip but when we got back the girls were playing this game called Sorry. So then Aunt Michell made us (or the people who wanted it) hot chocolate. Then I tried to get them to play Monopoly or Life. But they didn't so it was back to the old T.V. screen. Then we said our goodbyes and left. After the first hour my baby sister Tess (who hasn't had much sleep lately) fell asleep after the first half an hour. You wouldn't believe it but she slept right through dinner. So me and Kate watched movies until we got back to our house. Then it was back to school. So thats what I did on my Thanksgiving. What did you do on yours?

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I went to Cincinnati, thats where my cosines, aunt, and uncle on my dad's side live.We went the day before Thanksgiving. We got up and hit the road. We drove the five or six hours it took us to get there and came to their house. We greeted everyone and spent the rest of the afternoon at their house.
Later that night after dinner sometime we drove to our hotel and went to bed.( I got to sleep on the bed and my brother got the cot.)

The next day we got up and went back to their house. We spent a couple of hours at their house and drove to my uncle's country club. My mom and dad went and sat down at a table while my brother and I went to the kids table. We got lots of food. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, salad (for the people who wanted it) and they even had pasta. We ate our food then some people got second helpings while other people had desert. We had for desert cookies and then there was also pumpkin pie, apple pie, chocolate cake, and some nut pie. My aunt took pictures of everyone. After all the excitement of eating we went back to my uncle's house. We were going to play football like every year but just for the record it was raining the day we came and on Thanksgiving day so we did't play football. But instead we played ping pong, watched t.v., talked, looked at old pictures, and lots of other things. After people started to leave we started to play a board game. It was then starting to get late so we went back to our hotel. ( I had to have the cot and my brother got the bed.) I think I had a good Thanksgiving.

For my thanksgiving I went to my cousin's house. My grandparents from Michigan came too. My aunt made two turkeys! I forgot what they were called though. Me and my cousins had a lot of fun together. we played down stairs in their basement and played Mario cart on the game cube (It's a really old gaming system). my dad and my uncle watched a lot of football but I wasn't interested in that kind of stuff. The desert my aunt made was really good she made apple pie and kilime cake too. I had the kilime cake though.

The next day I went bowling with my cousins. We played two rounds. It was also glow-in-the-dark, so it was really cool. I lost both times but I was also playing aganst two of my cousins that go their all the time and play. I had a really fun time over my thanksgiving break.

On Monday my Mom and I drove to Overland Park, Kansas. It took 8 hours to get there. I visited my cousins Blake and Grant. My aunt Miss and my uncle Michael. Nanagran came too, I spent the night there with my Mom. The next morning Blake had a half day of school. At his school it was Grandparent's Day, so Nanagran came with him. Somewhere near 10:00 it was time for Blake's play. It was a great play. Earlier that morning Mom had helped me make a leaf pile. Blake and I played in it. Later we road in a wagon downhill in Blake's yard and crashed into the fence. We had a pizza party for dinner. Then we spent Tuesday night there. In the morning we left for Topeka. It only took a few hours to get there. When we got there we saw Austin and Justin my cousins, Paula my aunt. My uncle Shannon wasn't there I don't think he was there at least. In few minutes we left there house. Austin,Justin and aunt Paula. We started our drive to Hutchison.

This year on thanksgiving I had my normal thanksgiving dinner. I had turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. But this year was a little different. A couple days before the break my mom went o Disney World!!!! So My dad had to drive to orchestra and he brought me to Medowbrook and my orchestra rehersals are at the Junior High! So I told him " Dad! Stop the car! I go to the Junior High for orcestra NOT Medowbrook! Now I am going to be late for orcestra and going to get a bad grade!" He said " don't worry I will get you there on time." And guess what I got there on time! So when my mom got back after for days of disney we picked her up from the air port and went home. She stayed for 1 day. She had to leave 'cause my uncle was sick. So for the rest of the week she was at the hospital. She came bake and we had thanksgiving. Now every day my mom calls her dad for a check up. That was my thanksgiving break.

My Thanksgiving break was awesome. We went everywhere it seems. The first day of Thanksgiving break we went to my grandparents condo. When we were there we made a paper chain so long that it went around my grandparents whole condo. Also there condo is HUGE. On the second day of Thanksgiving break we celebrated my brothers birthday. For his birthday we went to pinstripes. He went with his friend Johna then in the middle of the bowling game my brother threw the ball and shouted GERBIL the ball fell with a THUMP and then my brother was shouting GERBIL GERBIL GERBIL while juming on the couch. That was my thanksgiving by.
