My friend Georgia has leukemia. I think it is a type of cancer. My mums mum had a type of cancer. But she died when my mum was 12. I never got to meet her. I am angry about that. Since Georgia is at home she will be doing the tongue for the monster project. She will get the description some how. I wonder if she has the stuff for it. I hope Georgia is going to be ok.

Dairy Products

Dairy Products are food made from milk. Cows eat grass to make milk. The grass travels throughout the bloodstream and into the udder. Some people in the country still do hand milking. Machine milking is much easier. It takes only five minutes.
First the farmer puts the suction cups on the teats, and then the machine sucks the milk from the udder. It only takes about five minutes to suck the milk out of the udder.
The tanker trucks take the milk to the factory. The tankers insulate the milk to keep it cool. Once the milk is in the factory they pasteurize the milk. That means that they quickly heat it, then quickly cool it. They do that to kill germs and bacteria. Dairy products are, cream, milk, cheese, butter, ice-cream, and yoghurt. These things get processed.
Dairy products are one of the main things produced in New Zealand.

On Monday me and the class went to ukulele practice. Instead of two fingers we used three fingers this week. Some people got to sit on chairs. We do ukulele practice in the new library. The ukuleles are red or they are the colour of light brown. The songs we did were Shortland Street, How Much is That Doggie in the Window, and others. I love doing ukulele practice, it is so much fun.

There is a movie called Alice in wonder land. It has a white rabbit. His name is of corse White Rabbit. I have it as a toy. New Zealand is not the smallest country in the world.
Lake Taupo is the largest volcano and it is still active. Waikato River is the longest river in New Zealand. Mount Cook is the tallest mountain. It is 3764 metres tall.
Kiwifruit and other crops get sent to other countries from New Zealand.
Some people like netball. The positions are WD, WA, GA, GS and others. We also play rugby, soccer, baseball, cricket and others.
We have not native mammals except for bats. There are two types of kiwis. There is a bird called a kiwi and a person can be called a kiwi. The bird that is a kiwi is New Zealand’s national emblem. Many native birds don’t fly.
New Zealand has a population of exactly four million people. Most people live in cities or towns. The biggest city, Auckland, has over one million people. New Zealand’s capital city is Wellington.
New Zealand is small but the country has a lot of different plants, birds, landscape and people.

Once upon a time there was a 13 year old girl. Her name was Merleah. She has long blonde hair and brown eyes the colour of chocolate.
One day Merleah saw sign that said Oh La Lane. There she saw a beautiful yellow, well mostly yellow, castle. The door opened. She went inside. But the thing was she did not know that it was haunted. It was so pretty. The floor was made out of sparkly pink glass. The walls were made out of purple sparkly glass. And everything else was made out of glass and every single colour.
“Oh this is just beautiful. This I could die for.”
Then she heard strange voices from upstairs. She went in the room. She saw ghosts.
“Ahhh! Run away!” said Merleah.
“Stop! Would you like some of this?”
“Oh, okay.”
She drank it.
“Why am I off the gr, gr, ground.”
“Tricked you. You’re one of us.”
“I’m a ghost?”
“Yes.”
“I am going to … What is that button?”
“Nothing,” said Queen Calissa.
It said Curse Has Lifted.
She pressed it. The ghosts were gone and she was back to normal.
“I will never go there again.”
And she lived happily ever after.
