What do you want to be when you grow up? There are many posibilities that we can do. Everybody had different dream. My dream is to go to college, graduate, get some money, go on a cross-country trip with my friend, and become a teacher at my elementary school. This is a big dream and a lot to accomplish though. We may have some huge drems but we will just have to work hard and face the challenges that will happen. Just don't forget that you can be anything you want to be. Don't let anybody tell you what to do. I hope you all have a great time doing your dreams. Respond to this post and tell me what you want to be. I would love to know your dream or your multiple dreams that you could have. Thanks for reading my blog post!

Dear Mr. H,
This eveining I read the book A Pilgrim Boy. I read this same book in reading and told you all about it already in my other friendly letter. Now, Indians come reagularly, asking for water and meat. An indian named Squanto helps Jasper plant corn and says to tell everyone. If he didn't tell everyone, the colonists would die in the winter. Bye. I hope you get to read the story sometime.
Sincerely, Morgan

Dear Mr.H,
Today I read the journal of Jasper Jonathan Pierce. He was a boy who was a pilgrim and was a servant. His father and mother died in England, so he and his brother had to live obn the streets of London. One day a man came up to them and he became their master.
Then the master wanted to go to America and he took Jasper with him. His brother got left behind and he was very sad. Jasper suffered the hard times of the journey across the Atlantic Ocean and was happy to see land the day after his birthday.
Now many in the settlement of Plymouth have died but he still remains. He is also very joyful when indians come and welcome them. This book is part of the Dear America series and I would reccomend this series to anyone. Thanks for reading my letter. Bye.
Sincerely, Morgan

In the summer my family and I went on vacation. You probably know this from all of my stories about my cross-country trip. In this article though, I am going to talk about my time in the Redwood Forest in California. Redwoods are a type of tree that grows near the ocean in California. Redwoods grow to be 2,500 years old. This makes them very, very tall. If you stand under one and look up it seems like they go all the way to outer space. I felt so tiny standing under them. There was also a really cool one that was curly and looked like it was two trees wraped around each other. It was amazing. It might be far away but it is an anazing site to see.

Spring Has Sprung

Spring is a beautiful season that comes after the cold winter. Spring means flowers, sun, and great weather. It also means the birds are coming back from the south.
As I stand outside alone on this beautiful spring evening. I can hear the birds chirping happily together as they rest from their long journey. There is a slight breeze that rustles the branches in the trees and makes them sway peacefully. There is also one more sound I hear. That sound is the cars off on a distant road that is nowhere in sight. It is very calming and relaxing just sitting out here alone.
I can smell the sweet fragrance of the flowers on the neighbor’s porch. It is a very soothing scent and makes me feel happy just like the chirping birds. I can also smell the residue of the grass that had been cut earlier this week. It is so nice for some alone time right here and right now. These are some signs that spring has sprung.
As I sit here and write, the gentle breeze is making my hair blow into my face and makes me feel like I’m above the clouds. But my most favorite part of spring is looking. When you look around on a spring day, you can see all of the bright colors that had been buried under the white snow during winter. From this balcony on the hill I can see all of the trees, grass, flowers, and the quaint, quiet little house in the neighborhood. This is one of my favorite times of the year.

It’s almost that time of year again! This is the time where school gets out for two months and we get to have vacations. I am really excited. Are you? Sometimes my family and I go on a one or two week vacation. Sometimes we visit my Grandparents or sometimes we go to Cape Cod and camp. But this summer we are going to Disney World!
I have been to Disney World once and Disney Land once. It is so fun! I am going to go on Tower of terror, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and many more rides. I love going on vacations with my family because we get to spend time together and we get to have fun. I hope that all kids get to have fun over the summer. Are you going on vacation? You can comment this article and tell me what you’re doing. I’ll comment back. Hope you have a great summer!

During the spring break at our school, I have done a lot. But one of the most fun things that I did was going to one of my best friend's birthday party. It was very fun and it was a beautiful day out. We jumped on the trampoline, had a scavenger hunt, and we had a water ballon toss. It was great. When I first got there though, the birthday girl was wearing a birtday hat. When we jumped on the trampoline she tooke it off so it would not get smashed.it was very fun and I am glad that I went.

Going Green

In our classroom we have been assigned a project to draw a city and make it be green and ecofriendly. On Time For Kids News, there is an article about a city that a few middle schoolers made. They hope this city will be made in the future and encourage other people to go green also. I also hope that many people will go green. These kids called their city Novo Mondum. This means "new world" in Latin. This town will sit on the coast of Iceland for it's wealth of nice, clean energy resources. One of the students said "Our city is very globbally aware." Maybe you could create a town and go green too.

I see little red berries on bushes.
I feel squishy mud under my feet.
I hear dry, crunchy leaves when our
class is walking on them.
I smell blossoms that are dying.
I think autumn is the best season ever!
