Walk to school
Walk,walk,walk
No time to talk
Run,run,run
That’s never fun
Late to school for the second time
Pound, pound, pound my feet
Hit the ground
Mean time
The clock’s ticking by
Why oh why?
I think I might cry
I go down to tie shoe
Turns out, I’m standing in dog poo!
I get to the class
Right on time
I made it
I made it still alive!!

A nice, tall principal
Leaving her school
Never coming back.

My mom is sick
My brother too
My sister’s face is already blue.
Me not really, two days ago it’s true
But look at me,
I am good as new!
After all those days of sneezing and coughing
Now look at me
Smiling and laughing!
I have to admit
I am kind of jealous
Of my sister and brother staying home
And, eating popcorn.

Time for dinner
As I’m starring at the turkey roaster,
I’m also listening for the toaster.
Then I look at the fridge, still so hungry,
When I smell something really good and funky
Then I hear my mom say “Time for dinner!”
Then I no longer feel like I’m thinner!
