¿Que comemos en España?

Article posted May 4, 2010 at 12:44 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 305

My breakfast

Article posted February 10, 2009 at 12:33 PM GMT0 • comment (9) • Reads 313

Hello:
I usually have a chocolate milkshake with a pastry before going to school in the morning. Later, at 11 o'clock I usually have a loin sandwich at school. But when I am at home, at the weekend, I prefer having a toast with butter and sugar or a croissant and a chocolate milkshake. But on holidays I have an american breakfast( eggs, sausages, chips, cereali,ect...).

Halloween and La Castanyada

Article posted November 25, 2008 at 11:44 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 188

I’m going to compare the Halloween and La Castanyada.
On "La Castanyada" we eat "panellets" and chesnuts but on Halloween we eat sweets.
On Halloween the people dress up but on "La Castanyada we don't dress up.
They celebrate both festivals the same day.
Halloween is typical in England, Wales, north Ireland, Scotland, and Ireland and "La Castanyada" is typical of the country of Catalonia.
Halloween is 31st of October and "La Castanyada" too. On Halloween we ask for sweets but on "La Castanyada" we eat "panellets".
