2nd ESO A, B, C and D are classes of grade 8 . They are students at "IES Vil·la Romana", a secondary school in La Garriga (Barcelona, Spain). They are learning English as a foreing language. They will practice their speaking and writing. They'd like to communicate to students around the world. This is the first year they're going to use this blog.

Lasagna
Ingredients:
-Pre-cooked lasagna strips.
- Sliced cheese.
- York ham.
- Cream.
- Mushrooms
- Grated cheese.
Directions:
Soak the lasagna strips as directed in the package.
When they’re ready, spread a slice of ham and cheese over each strip.
Roll and cut in half.
Secure each roll with a toothpick.
Place on baking sheet or tin, taking care of placing the toothpick as low as possible.
Cook the mushrooms with the cream and pour over the lasagna rolls.
Sprinkle with cheese and take to oven for 20 minutes.
When the rolls are cooked they will open and look like roses

Yo como cinco veces al día: El desayuno, el almuerzo, la comida, la merienda y la cena.
Desayuno: Es a las 7:15 o 7:30 antes de ir al instituto. Normalmente bebo un vaso de leche fría con chocolate y galletas o madalenas.
Almuerzo: Es de las 11:00 a las 11:30 en el patio. Comemos un bocadillo de queso o jamón.
Comida: Es de la 1:30pm a las 3pm. Es la comida más importante del día y es en la que comemos más. Como tres días en el instituto y dos en casa normalmente como: Sopa, pasta o verdura con pescado o carne con ensalada o patatas fritas. De postre como fruta o un yogurt.
Merienda: Es a las 5pm o 5:30pm en casa después del instituto, normalmente como un zumo de naranja y un bocadillo o galletas.
Cena: Es a las 21:00 o a las 22:00 en casa. Es una de las comidas más importantes del día. Normalmente como: sopa o verdura y ensalada con lomo o pollo.

I get up at 7:15.
I go to school at 7:45.
At IES Vil·la Romana I study 11 subjects: Catalan, Spanish, English, Math, Natural science,Social Science, Ral(History of religions), PE, Tecnologics, Natural Laboratory, Workshop, Music, reading comprehension.
But my favourite is Natural science.
My favourite teacher is Mar Sanchez, the social sience teacher.
I like going to school because I stay with my friends.
Evry day, I have lunch at 13:30 at school in the canteen three days a week.
I have lunch at home the rest of days. For lunch I usually eat salad and meat.
Break time is at 11 o'clock. At the break time I like play basketball.
I like studying in Spain but studying in Ohio can be interesting.

Sometimes I have chocolate milk and cereal or chocolate milk and cookies for breakfast.
Later at 11 o'clock I have a sandwich for breakfast at school. I have lunch 3 days at school and 2 days at home. At lunch time I eat vegetables and meet, vegetables and fish, soap and fish or meat... later, at dinner timeI eat toast and jam or cheese...
