 Babymouse: Halloween Mash by:Ale Jaime I am reading Babymouse: Halloween Mash. It's a graphic novel about Baby mouse's Halloween and the party she is making to celebrate. I had a connection while Babymouse was going trick-o-treating. My connection was in my last Halloween when I entered into a very detailed house and there was a plastic chicken in a real women's hand and when you squished the chicken it made a scary crying noise!!! I think the author's message is to be yourself and never pretend to be someone else to impress another person. I think Babymouse isn't really that girly because she dressed up as a scary monster with blood, cuts, etc. Felicia Furrypaws,the coolest person in the whole school, and her group is dressing up as fairies and brides and princesses. The illustrations of the book helped me a lot in understanding what was happening in the story. I like the book because I've never seen a halloween story in a graphic novel.I hope you get to read it some day!
