 Chuck close  Chuck Close model  Chuck Thomas Close was born in Monroe Washington July the 5th 1940. His style of art is photorealism or hyperrealism. His Age:57. He started painting When he was 5. His favourite Artist is Jackson Pollock. He went to Yale university. His colours where black, white, Blue and red. When he returned to the USA he worked as a art teacher at the University of Massachusetts. Chuck close currently lives in Bridgehampton New York.. On December 7, 1987, Close felt a strange pain in his chest. Though a catastrophic spinal Artery collapse in 1988 which left him paralyzed. At the Medical Center he had suffered a seizure which had left him paralyzed from his neck to his toes. Close had taking art lessons as a child to the age 14.Chuck had received his B.A. In 1962. In 1964 he had won a Fulbright scholarship to study in Vienna. He uses a strap on his hand so he can Slot his paint brush on to his hand as he told in a 2009 interview Akron Ohio Plain. Dealer he had made a choice in 1967 to make art to hard for himself and he had a personal breakthrough by abandoning the paint brush. Most of his art now is held in A museum in medred.
