Our Little Adventure

Yesterday we went to the Government House and went on a Tour called "The Haunting of the Government House." We heard stories about a friendly ghost named Howie. Howie does some weird things around the house. He moves pool balls, takes table cloths off tables, moves curtains, flushes toilets, along with many other little things. It was a spooky tour. Some of the students were pretty scared. Their jobs today were to write spooky stories about Howie and the Government House. I hope you enjoy reading them!

Hello Grade 2/3!
While you little ones are at home watching cartoons, Mrs. H and I are "students." We are learning about blogging and thought this would be the perfect time to start our blogging this year. The Grade 3 students should be pros at blogging this year because they did it last year. This is new to the Grade 2 students, but I am sure you will catch on quickly. We will be starting our first blog at the beginning of the week. How exciting!!!

I'm Gonna Like Me

Today in health class we read the book "I'm Gonna Like Me" by Jamie Lee Curtis and Laura Cornell. The story's main idea is about liking yourself even when things don't go 100%. The students then responded in their journals. They transferred their thoughts to their blogs. Please read and comment on a few. I think they were great!
