I liked this book because: you never knew what was going to happen next I recomendthis book to Taine because he like advencher books and this book has a lot of advencher in it.

My year 6 so far has been fun and exciting and you never know what it is going to throw at you next. I have had ups and downs but overall it has been a great year. This year I have been getting into lots of things like soccer, mountain biking, swimming, maths and toe by toe. However i am not very good at spelling or with computers.

Definition
Dogs are very intelligent 4 legged animal’s, they can learn to do many things.
feeding
Dogs love chewing thing’s, they eat meat bones and biscuits. And when they’re young they drink their mom’s milk.
Behaviour
Dogs love to play and be energetic they are play full in the middle stage, they are lazy when they are young and when they are old. They bite when they are not trained, Dogs are Amazingly fast runners. (deepens watt type.)
Habitat
They live in warm places apart from the huskies, they can resist very cold places. Dogs are usually kept as pets.
Description
They come in all different sizes Chihuahuas to bull dogs. They come in different colours black white brown grey.
Conclusion
Dogs are smart fun play full creatures. Everyone should have a dog, they are so much fun! You could get a big active dog or a small cute dog, or even a farm dog. But I think you should just get one for fun!!

Yay! It is my go at abseiling. I put my harness on and made sure it was secure. “Lean back”, said the instructor. I slowly leaned back off the cliff until it was like sitting down on the floor with my legs sticking out on the vertical cliff, then I took a little step then another then I slowly lowered my bottom down by letting the rope out,
I was scared because it felt like I was going to fall. I just thought I was not going to make it then I got to the bottom. Man that was harder than I thought, I glanced up
the cliff I had come down I was pleased with myself. “Has everyone had a go?” said the instructor. “Yes” we all said. “OK, time for your next activity”.
Our last activity of the day was the flying fox. I was very excited. When we got there we all lined up to have a go. Unfortunately I was last. I watched everyone go down. When it was my go I scrambled up the stairs like a possum. When I got there they clipped me in and weeeeee! The wind blew in my face and made my hair fly back like an invisible man brushing my hair. It felt like a helicopter was lifting me across the sky with a rope. I banged into the tyres and swung back and forth like I was on a swing. One of the parents got me off. I raced back into the line ready for my second go.
When we got back it was time for dinner. It was delicious. Gee I had a fun time!

The bush was cold and damp like a sponge soaked in Antarctica water. There was little wind but enough to make you shiver. The trickles of water sounded like running the bath. There were leaves and rocks in the water that looked like fish and the sun was like a giant torch shinning brightly. When the sun’s rays hit the leaves they glowered and sparkled.
Under the leaves was a tiny hut with a think fact poking out. His eyes were dark brown with a tiny sparkle in them. His hair was black as it shone in the sun.. You could see little curls like worms that were painted black. His limbs were very red. When he walked his jeans hit the ground like a rag getting dragged. He felt hungry. He only had only one coconut that he hoped would last him until he found more food and shelter.
Tim made spear from wood then he set off to find a wild pig. In the distance he saw a little baby pig sleeping. He went up to it but the mother heard him and came racing back in a terrible rage. He ran looking behind him and suddenly found him at a cliff edge. The pig butted him, he fell backwards. Crack! He landed on a flat rock and he had broken his wrist. Once it stopped hurting he reached into his pocket and pulled out some flint. It took him a long time to start a fire. He made the fire smoke so help might come. He heard a helicopter. They let down a rope for him to climb up. Tim could not hear them with the helicopter going. So they yelled to him again but still he did not hear them. So they looked down and saw him hanging.
They towed him up because he could not climb up with his broken arm. They took him to the village. His family was so happy to see him they had a big party and fixed his arm.

I went to Australia Zoo. We got to feed the Kangaroos they were very tame some had joeys in there pouches. When you feed them you hold out your hand with food on it and they ate it and it was fun. Next we went to the Crocodile show and I learned that crocodiles made no ripples on the top of the water when they moved. My big sister held a koala and lily patted it. Mum said the photo was not good because Lily did not smile. I also learned that Koalas have two thumbs ‘‘Whoa’’ I said ‘‘I did not know that.’’ But my favourite bit of all was holding the snake. It was two metres long and quite heavy. When it said hisss it sounded like rustling in the bushes. You are not allowed to squeeze it or it might attack you. It felt like a wet tale of a dinosaur. The snake looked like a funny painted shape. My photo was great!

“Hurry up!” Diamond Head said, “I’m trying, just wait.” She was up in no time at all. Diamond Head and everyone else had a good drink. “Let’s do the creek track”. “OK.” Diamond Head instantly did a three x and Diamond Head hurt himself. Bang, Boom!!!! He went down a metre high step. “Ow” he said. “ I think I will walk the rest.” When Diamond Head got to the bottom of the Three X there were downhill tracks. The tree roots were bumpy crocodiles. “Race you back” Diamond Head said. He did not feel like doing the exit trail. When Diamond Head got to the bottom he said it was one of the best rides he had done.

After our testing I found that the best insulator material after 45 minutes was....woollen scarf.
I think this because it was thick however it stayed within 45.c and 40.c for 10 minutes.
However I also found out during the testing the following may have effected some of the results.
1. Time to get the hot water into the pot because the last one would have colder water in their pot than the first one.
2. Some material fell apart during the testing and had to be replaced.
3. Some people had their lids off while testing the temp while some keep lids on.
4. Some had a temp increase during testing as people may have been holding the thermometer.

I am good at catching dinosaurs because I am very fast at running. I live on unknown island that still has dinosaurs. There are not many people because most people are scared of the meat eating dinosaurs.
Character profile:
My eyes are dark and my hair is short. I am as thin as a pen and my feet are big. I am tall which helps me with my job. My pants I put on are long and green I never wear blue pants because that will help the dinosaurs see me.

Mr Funny was as funny as a monkey dancing for half a day. His hat was as sharp as a thorn it had four big spots on it. His top was very colourful with lot's of spots and stripes. The gloves were green and when he wriggled his finger it just looked like his gloves were alive.

Run run!!! said my Mum water safety is today. Eventually I got to school quite quick because I was running. The teacher gathered everyone in line. We all followed the teacher to the bus excitedly. Some people managed to sit by their friends. Brrom Brroom!!! went the bus as it went to the Acquatic Centre. Everyone talked on the rid on the bus.I had life jackets as the first activity.I did not like it because I got cold out of the pool. Next was swimming. We had to make two lines with a gap down the middle. We had to make waves in the middle and people to swim through it. By golly it was hard. It was like swimming through waves in the sea. I liked that.
