Great Student Work All Around

One of our students went on a walk through the ACS Visual Arts Show. He used my camera to capture much of what is on display. Then, he cropped each picture, and exported the folder of edited pictures to a shared folder.

Great student work all around!

Storybird - Ready for School to Resume

Article posted April 9, 2010 at 10:09 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1624

We start school on Monday. Are you ready? Here's a little story I wrote about going back. Perhaps you'd like to write a story, too. If you do, add the link to your blog, just as I have done. Once you sign in, go to Create. Then choose an artist whose illustrations you will use in your story; just add the words!

Storybird - Ready for School to Resume?

One of the things that I really like about Storybird is they have a special sign in for anyone under 13 years old. You may sign up by clicking HERE.

This week's 4-minute story is about Mark Twain. Enjoy!

Listen to the story of Mark Twain (from free mp3 stories by The American Storyteller)!

Have you read any books by Mark Twain? Have you ever heard of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn? They are characters created by Mark Twain.

Article posted March 9, 2010 at 11:06 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1458

During this 4-Day break, I've been spending some time on the Landmark 2010 Games.  Anyone else working on it?  All answer sheets, which will be sent out soon, are due on March 19th. I have quite a few landmarks that are almost impossible for me.  Would you like to give them a try?  Landmark 2010 Primary Clues

I'm having trouble with #19, 23, 26, 27, 32, 34, 41, 43 and 45.
