Monty

Room 3 has a mascot. He is 13 years old. His full name is Montgomery Maxwell Mouse but we just call him Monty. He’s a toy of course. We wouldn’t have a full sized mascot in our classroom.
Monty has a buck tooth and a cheeky smile that keeps us all happy. Now, about his nose. He has a banana shaped nose with a black cherry at the end. Monty feels soft and cuddly. You know what I mean. Monty is a caramel coloured mouse that smells like dirty feet. His hands are like brown and yellow mixed together boxing gloves. His legs are exactly like his arms but the legs are a little bit bigger. Monty’s ears are shaped like a sliced tomato but light brown.

Beijing is the capital city of China. It has been that way for 700 years. Beijing is also a couple of kilometers away from the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall of China is huge. It is all around China and it is used for keeping away enemies. It’s the only man made thing that you can see from space. Some Chinese people speak Mandarin. Did you know that Beijing is the 28th city in the world to hold the Olympic Games? The Olympics are only held for 16 days every 4 years.

Wow! How do they grow so fast?
On Friday 4th of April we had Pumpkin Day at our school in the hall. Shanelle was the champion (50kg). Then there was Mrs Crooks challenge. I think Sophie won that. There there was the food contest. I’m not really sure about that one but I think Oscar won. I liked the jail that Jack made. He carved it and put tooth picks in it for bars. It said ‘Jack’s Pumpkin Jail’.

Swimming Sports Recount

On Friday the 7th of March we had swimming sports. First we had four length swimming. The champion was Wendy and the runner up was Rosa.
After that Room 1 did a demonstration. Then Room 2 did their demonstration. Then Room 3 did a demonstration. There was freestyle, backstroke, dolphin dives, gliding, sculling, 4 armstrokes, 2 lengths and flutterboard. I was really nervous swimming in front of all that people. But it was really fun though. Then Room 4 did their demonstration.
It was cool.

Ones we lost Rosina. I got wored, and so did the others.But dad`s freind (Tom)found her. I was really glad.When we just got Rosina found, fang chased a posmen and bett him on the but! Then Dad said sorry and tould fang off.Dad built a dog house and it was pretty good, then mum bought a dog bowl, and dad built a fence , but Fang ran around the athor side. Dad was a litte mad at Fang, but it was okay.

My dog is very big, very strong very smart, playful, really nice, funny, REALLY quick, and brave. His name is Fang and he has a friend named Rosina. Rosina is pretty small, but strong. Fang chases Colins (a cat we used to have). It was a litle bit funny to watch, and scary so we sold the cat for $250. I don`t know what types of dog they are, but I think I know what dog they are. I think they are a bull dog. Fang is grey, drooly and big. It's a little bit funny when Fang bumps into us and drools over us.

My name is Cambell (I`m a boy) and I like art,(crayon) badminton, tennis and cricket(I`m really good too). My favourite programme is Pokemon. I went to the V8S and and to basketball Pistons Vs the Hawkes Bay Hawkes (GO PISTONS!) The Pistons won again DUUUUUUUUUUDE!
