 About My Country I live in Beirut, Lebanon, as you’ve probably heard. Lebanon is small, but beautiful. I love that it’s small because, wherever you go, you’ll find a friend or relative. Plus, we are very hospitable people. We love people and company, which is why we get lots of tourists. We also have a perfect climate because we can see the snow and sea at the same time. Which is fabulous, because we can ski and swim in the same season. We, like you, have four seasons. We have many landmarks in Lebanon, but my favorite one is not as well-known as some. It’s this large clock in the heart of Beirut, downtown. It’s not different from any other clock, but I like it because there are always people around it, doing something fun, like eating ice cream, or little kids riding bikes. We’re also known for our Cedar trees and our delicious and nutritious food. We also have amazing hotels like the Movenpick Hotel, that has humongous pools and is a four star hotel. There’s also the Golf Club where we swim and play golf. It’s an amazing country, but has had a few arguments politically which… well, isn’t amazing. But Lebanon has still remained fantastic or it wouldn’t have such a fantastic night life, which it does! Believe me, I know! My brother and sister come home at 5 in the morning on weekends! My favorite thing to do here in Lebanon is going to sit in a park with my dad and listening to my ipod or chatting on the Internet. What about you? About the Blogger Heyy! My name is Maryam and I'm ten years old. I was born on June 2nd, 1997. I have a family of five people (if you are adding me). There's my amazing mother, Marya, my outstanding father and my older brothers and sisters- Dyala and Hussein. My favorite colors are lavender and pink- all kinds; hot pink, light pink, EVERYTHING! My favorite food is French fries. I'm going to be honest and to say the truth: I really, really, really, really, really, REALLY like being the center of attention! My hobbies are: reading, writing, shopping, laughing, chatting, reading, watching movies, listening to music, talking on the phone, gossiping, reading, spending time with my family, reading, reading, reading, and oh! READING!! I want to be a reviewer when I grow up and read/ watch movies or books then write reviews about them in the newspaper.
