I must confess something; I am obsessed with sticky notes. I love them! They kind of cheer me up. They are colorful and VERY useful! You can use them to remember important dates, as bookmarks in your books, as small notes to people, as small reminders to stick on your fridge (you could remind your mom that you've run out of apple juice), or you can just own them because, in all honesty, they are pretty. Ha-ha! I especially like having sticky notes that are different. For example, now, I have four sets of sticky notes that I am using. One is a huge pink lip sticky notes, for big notes that will catch my attention, one of a speech bubble that is for the unimportant notes, and another that is four small, square, sticky notes- a few orange, few pink, few yellow, and some green. And lastly, I have one that is really cool. It has green, pink, orange, and yellow too- but it has a big difference from the other one. There is fake bite marks on them! So, my sticky notes look like they have been eaten! These particular sticky notes have taken the attention of some rowdy boys in my class.... The only problem with sticky notes is that probably, people will take some without you knowing. That's why on the first sticky note I always write: Please ask before taking a sticky note and they do! So, try and buy some sticky notes!
Happy sticky note shopping!!

Hey Everyone!
This time I am going to talk about my favorite author. Her name is Jacqueline Wilson. I own almost all her books!! She is an AMAZING writer.. She has such voice and I just adore her.. She is my role model. She writes realistic fiction books and although most usually have something sad happening it's okay because the amazing writing makes it better. Her writing... it's makes you feel like the characters ACTUALLY exist!!! It's just so amazing. I have told lots of my friends about her books and they are reading them now or read them and almost all of them adore the books.. Here's the ones I can remember that I've read (that I can remember because I've read so many I doubt I'll be able to name them all):

Women Abuse

This is an article that Liana and I worked on together about Women Abuse.. Hope you like it!:
Do you know that about 324,000 women are abused every year?
Do you know that most women are abused by friends or even family members?
Do you know that in 1996, 4000 women were said to be abused?
We feel personally affected by this problem in the world because we ourselves are female and can’t believe that men can be so inhuman to their wives! Also, if we were ever abused – physically or verbally, we would be mortified. So, thinking of these women who have actually had it happen to them, we feel guilty knowing we can’t help them. We are here, safe and they are in other countries, in great danger.
There are many different kinds of abuse. One is verbal, which is when the husband/boyfriend yells aggressively at his wife or curses her. Then, we have physical, which is when the man kicks, hits, threatens his wife, or slaps the woman. There is also social, when the husband does not allow the woman to have any contact with friends or family at all. There is also educational when men do not let the woman learn. There is also sexual abuse, when the women are raped.
Other than the fact that the woman would be in danger if she is abused, her children would be affected. After all, parents are role models to the children. When a child sees their mother being abused, in the case of a boy, he might think that he must do that to his wife. In a girl’s case, she will see her mom getting abused and assume that that is what is supposed to happen to her. Then there is a possibility of the girl to never have any contact with a boy, because of the trauma.
You can usually tell if a woman is abused. For starters, if she was being physically abused it would be obvious by any noticeable scars, or bruises on her body. The husband’s acts could cause internal bleeding, burns, and even broken bones. And even worse, he could kill her! You can also tell that the woman in ANY way is being abused if she is getting drunk constantly or bring forced to think that the abuse she is getting is her fault, or a form of punishment for something she did that was wrong.
Many women end up with a much lower self esteem because they have been psychologically abused. They begin to think that they are machines that are just made for cleaning the house, taking care of the children and the entertainment of the husband. They begin to be treated like animals, like trash.
The most horrible part is that the women are usually too frightened to report that someone is abusing them for three reasons:
First of all, the husband may start physically abusing the woman.
Secondly, he may threaten to take away the children or her own belongings.
Thirdly, he may force her to lie if someone asks if she is being abused.
When the woman realizes that the situation has to be stopped but still can’t bring it up publicly, she can call social workers who will help her privately. The workers can help gain the woman’s self esteem and enough encouragement to start a business, or anything. They may even give her some money if she needs help financially. They try to make her strong enough to say no to the person who is abusing her. There should be MANY more of these groups and volunteers because, the more help the less abuse there will be!!!

MUSIC AND LAUGHTER
They bring the world together, giving lots of joy.
They make you forget your troubles.
When you hear them- especially conjoined, you feel like weight has been lifted off your shoulders.
When you laugh you make the world a better place.
And every music note takes your breath away.
Whether it's little kids laughing or Beethoven’s symphonies - music
makes your soul slowly lift away.

Hey, Everyone...
I'm gonna talk about my all time favorite show.
It's called Grey's Anatomy. It is about a group of interns working together at a surgical hospital named Seattle Grace Hospital. And at the beginning, when I did not start watching it yet, I was worried. I was not sure I wanted to watch it since there's a lot of blood and whatever, but now I LOVE it. Imagine I had almost a phobia of blood and then I love watching it on Grey's! Imagine how good the show must be! And lots of people at my school watch it too! Actually, I convinced one of my best friends, Liana(She's on blogmeister on LG- check her out) and now she's almost as obsessed with it as me!)except, I can identify a Grey's episode from it's name! Next I am gonna name all the characters, with first the name of the character, then their real life name.:
WOMEN:
Meredith Grey- Ellen Pompeo
Christina Yang- Sandra Oh
Izzie Stevens- Katherine Heigl
Miranda Bailey- Chandra Wilson
Addison Shepherd- Kate Walsh
Callie Torres- Sara Ramirez
Lexie Grey- Chyler Leigh
MEN:
Derek Shepherd A.K.A McDreamy- Patrick Dempsey
Mark Sloan A.K.A. McSteamy- Eric William Dane
George O'Malley- T.R. Knight
Alex Carev- Justin Chambers
Preston Burke- Isaiah Washington
Richard Webber A.K.A Cheif- James Pickens Jr.
That's All... PLEASE TRY IT! I assure you, you WILL love it!

About the Blogger
Heyy!
My name is Maryam and I'm ten years old. I was born on June 2nd, 1997. I have a family of five people (if you are adding me). There's my amazing mother, Marya, my outstanding father and my older brothers and sisters- Dyala and Hussein. My favorite colors are lavender and pink- all kinds; hot pink, light pink, EVERYTHING! My favorite food is French fries. I'm going to be honest and to say the truth: I really, really, really, really, really, REALLY like being the center of attention! My hobbies are: reading, writing, shopping, laughing, chatting, reading, watching movies, listening to music, talking on the phone, gossiping, reading, spending time with my family, reading, reading, reading, and oh! READING!! I want to be a reviewer when I grow up and read/ watch movies or books then write reviews about them in the newspaper. Then I would be able to do three of my favorite things; read, watch movies, and write!
Well, I hope you like my blog! Comment As Much As You Can!!
