I feel the same way sometimes I hate nail polish I like my nails just they are and I have bitten my nails before and I can admit that unlike some people they say there just too embarrassed.

You can look at it in a positive way as well. Since you have nail polish on it will prevent you from biting your nails which is a bad habit. Putting nail polish on more often will hopefully stop you from biting your nails in the future, because as you grow up it wouldn't be nice for a woman to have nails that are short and bitten. It would be nicer to have nice long and strong nails. It is healthier too :).
