Lost
Drip Drip went the fresh sparkly water as it raced through the stream. Swish Swish went the trees as the bright yellow sun shone. Cheep Cheep went the birds as they fluttered through the bush. You could feel the squish brown mud as you walked through the bush.
Mark and Peko loved the bush because of its bright colours. Peko was cheeky because he sometimes pinches Mark’s ear. Mark has got brown hair that sticks out like prickles. Peko’s feathers are as colourful as a rainbow and Mark’s head was as round as a ball. His nose was short and fat. His body as as thin as a straw and he was as strong as a rhino. Peko had feet that were as grey as a road.
Crunch, crunch went the sticks as Mark ran across the ground. Suddenly Mark and Peko came to a dead end and where some giant boulders were falling and hitting the ground. Luckily Peko flew up in the air but Mark got covered in rocks and broke his leg. Peko was very scared but he knew that he needed help quickly. So Peko flew as fast as could. Finally Peko found a village but no one was there but it had snakes and skeletons everywhere. Meanwhile Mark found a way out of the rocks and started crawling across the deep muddy ground. After an hour of crawling Mark felt something soft…. Mark looked up and it was Peko who had come back for him. “I found these men down near a river” said Peko. Suddenly Mark, Peko heard something very loud in the sky. It was a helicopter. The people in the helicopter saw them and came down with a stretcher and lifted them up. They got back to the town. 'Yeah Yeah" said Peko and Mark, “we are home"
